Here is a heads up for you there is a newer version of this virus that locks you out of command prompt safe mode to My wife got this bugger on her school computer and I thought oh easy you just do this and well that doesn't work any more

I did what your video told me to do so far I know I'm safe but my security system, Norton, is going crazy when I start my computer It says it blocks a threat every time When I look at the logs it seems like I'm attacked every time I start my computer Am I safe yet?

before that i did a "safe mode with networking" and used norton power eraser (which requires a restart which you also have to load in safe mode), it found some ORTHsomething i dont remember what it was called, but it seemed to be an unrelated issue

That will end up affecting your hard drive to the point of failure That's why Windows has a shut down feature so it can stop all data being written to the hard drive before it shuts down

People should be able to get into safe mode with command prompt The virus will still pop up in safe mode and safe mode with networking because it loads the infected shell registry entry When you open the explorer shell in command prompt it doesn't load the edited registry entry Simple way to bypass the virus and remove it
