The worse is not being able to get into a college because of a mental disability, my own story I was basically aided through highschool in order to get a diploma, so when I got out, my understanding of mathematics was still 6th grade level 😩 A person lives a totally different struggle than others because of this disability Not many opportunities Comment from : Travis G

I was in this program to well not the same state but in the college that I went to it wasn't even a college all we ever did was volunteering doing helping the homeless people doing food banks they didn't actually help us prepare us after college I mean all we ever did but just talk and went to bus Buddies and do so many stuff they actually didn't help us all how to social with people my opinion I felt like I was in special education again but this time in a college They never teach us anything all we ever did was basic work they actually never told us that we were graduating with a regular diploma we never got a regular diploma all we got was a certificate and a shake hand from the president of the college that I went to it was so boring I didn't actually made no friends at all and after 2 we want allowed back to the college we want we want allowed back in the college after 2 pm after we graduate we can come back here until this day I don't know why we're not allowed to go back but it took me years just to find me a job and now I'm working a job but my social problem is terrible they never ask about teachers anything yeah we will go there at 10 in the morning come back home at 3 * 30 and they never taught us anything don't get me wrong it's a good program but I felt so embarrassed because I have been seeing member so many people in the community that I know they would follow us around these teachers they never taught us anything it's a good program and so many state should have this but I wish they taught us what we want to know like all the regular students we will take college class but an aid have to be with us but it doesn't matter if we failed or pass because we weren't getting graded basically it was the same class as special education but this time it took place in the community college and they make you sit with all the disabled people at lunch time you're not alone to be honest I didn't make no friends at all and I joined bus buddies and no one from that program actually talk to me Comment from : itsvenom bro

No educational or learning experiences talked about by these students The kids with mild disabilities - also positive social experience and no mention about studies Ask (and videotape) them again when classes are in full swing and see what they have to say How many of these kids will actually graduate and find employment?
