My more recent experience of Drs (dermatologist in this case) was that they are corporatizing their offices and hiring Drs to work for them The best ones always seem to reach for the golden hoop and bc money rules and not the excellent skills of that one Dr 😢

This is same care staff and support workers who get paid pittance and treated like shit get zero overtime but yet we do our best during caring for someone when shift had finished hours before That is ongoing throughout working in this line of work If any staff is under valued it's definitely care staff

You’re from Africa, right? How did you pay for medic school? You know money isn't everything But a lot of Healthcare workers sacrifice other things like personal time and mental health and the time it takes to get a degree And that is sometimes more valuable than money We can't give people more time so we have to compensate with money in addition to health care and other thingsbrAnd things like student debt in the US is one thing that can be improved As a swede I think that some American doctors have ridiculously high wages but the student debt they accumulate is even more ridiculous If they didn't have that kind of student debt than the salary could maybe be a bit lower but everything a Healthcare worker sacrifice must be included when we talk about salary

As an RN myself, I don't believe physicians, ancillary providers, nurses, techs, and phlebotomists are paid nearly enough There are wealthy surgeons here in the US, but they're in private practice for a number of years Especially in America, we pay all the wrong people crazy amounts of money rather than demonstrating how valuable our true public servants are
