@maggie8376
I came from an abusive "overprotective" household and one time my stepmom read my diary and i got in trouble for it :( and from that point on i used that club penguin code to write in my diary instead and my stepmom couldn't read it anymore because she didn't understand it :)
Comment from : @maggie8376

@NancyDrewGuru
True story, I started writing in my diary using this code Not the most foolproof method of encryption, as my brother, the person I would most want to hide it from, also played Club Penguin I think I banked on the right that he wouldn't want to take the time to decode it
Comment from : @NancyDrewGuru

@algotkristoffersson15
4:06 just go ask the government to declare those words to not be any worse than any other words that mean the same thing (for example cancer is a bad word when it refers to the disease, science that’s a bad thing, but a good word when it refers to the constellation, science that is a good thing)
Comment from : @algotkristoffersson15

@strych9ines
i used this code to pass notes in school!
Comment from : @strych9ines

@anapaocastro
i did pass notes with this code in my school!!!!!!!
Comment from : @anapaocastro

@alemalave_
i still have this code memorised to this day, i never got in trouble for passing notes in school because my teachers couldn’t decipher it! man the nostalgia this brought me you have no idea what a huge impact you had in so many kids’ lives!
Comment from : @alemalave_

@alphawolfi
I did it !! Mostly to leave notes at the back of my notebook when I was sad or super happy Not so much with my classmates I would have loved to use it over the game to chat in the agency
Comment from : @alphawolfi

@anomos1611
Got so interested in the illuminati I read Adam Weishaupt's essays attacking Kant's Kritik der reinen Vernunft
Comment from : @anomos1611

@michellemunevar4955
I didn't use the exact same alphabet because I thought my friend and I wouldn't be the only ones who could read it, so based on the one you made for Club Penguin, I created a new one that only we could read In fact, we used it for almost two years and no one beside us ever get to understood it, but many of my friends from that time also started using it That was like 10 years ago
Comment from : @michellemunevar4955

@renasouza8261
its funny how much work actually goes into not making something turn a conspiracy theory lol
Comment from : @renasouza8261

@BddgamesBR
I actually used a lot even until high school, thou I remembered it from club penguin but it already was closed so as I didn't remembered the code very well just that it had squares and points so I search for it online and found the illuminati one, so I ended up using the other one more But it was because of club penguin that I started using it, I was very interested in enigmas and stuff like that at the time
Comment from : @BddgamesBR

@Wolfogon
I was a pretty lonely kid at school, got bullied a lot and although I didn't necessarily share notes with other people using the code i used them to write little notes to myself :) I was very scared of people reading my diary and journal since i got bullied so i had a lot of pages fully encrypted in PSA code The PSA code inspired me to create my own mini con-languages later in life!
Comment from : @Wolfogon

@TheInkTank
Loving your videos They are edited so well, too, like having all of your games stacking up at 2:42 - neat touch!
Comment from : @TheInkTank

@Wookie-
In my case that i live in a place where i speak spanish, because the spanish has 27 letters because of the "Ñ", me and my friends as kids we miss used the secret code, and the last symbol was the letter Z because all the letters after the N were moved, we still though it was cool and i could tell you, yes we used it atleast once xD
Comment from : @Wookie-

@vicbaez
Oh my god! Me and my friends on elementary school used to use this code Didn't remember we got it from this game
Comment from : @vicbaez

@MattO109
The nostalgia I remember when the yellow thing was added to that room and my kid self was going nuts
Comment from : @MattO109

@ElClandelCangrejo
CONFIRMED, CLUB PENGUIN WAS ALL WAYS THIS WHOLE TIME AN MIND CONTROL PROGRAM OF THE ILLUMINATIS 🗣️🗣️📢📢📢📢🤯🤯🤯⭕⭕⭕💀💀💀💀
Comment from : @ElClandelCangrejo

@marcusmors8485
i thought the last letter was the ñ,brwell, as a kid who knew nothing about english, i still had fun in club penguinbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbrbrUntil membership pay walls in the games i could play before
Comment from : @marcusmors8485

@MiguellAMV
Amazing how 4 years after you publish this video it gets recommended to me 😝 I am 24y at the moment and when I was on my 7th grade so 12-13y I guess, my brain was not smart enough to understand the logic of the code behind it, but was smart to the point of creating a code based on yours with my own logic (easier at that time) and I did pass notes with my best friend through class and no one would understand, even once a teacher that saw the note and couldn’t decifer what we were talking about 😂 Many years passed and I still use that code for myself when I don’t want people to understand it, I use it as oficial writing on my fictional universe and did teach it throughout my adolescence including in college to pass note, not even joking 😝 You will see one day the impact that you did on my stories, and hopefully I will be able to say thank you for the idea 😁
Comment from : @MiguellAMV

@sirnickschmidt
I actually learned about another version of the pig pen code from this secret agent handbook from the scholastic book fair in Canada and you wouldn't believe how excited I was when it showed up in Club Penguin
Comment from : @sirnickschmidt

@spyrorocks55
I used the code but i never had any friends who played club penguin so people thought i was just being weird like always
Comment from : @spyrorocks55

@bradlauk1419
I sent messages in elvish from lotr so it wouldn't surprise me
Comment from : @bradlauk1419

@0rimac
I didn't use the code when i was a child but me n my friend group started playing club penguin together again n started using it daily for jokes n stuff
Comment from : @0rimac

@meelsie143
Old video but yeah me and my friends absolutely passed notes with this code :)
Comment from : @meelsie143

@snipeh
I STILL PASS NOTES WITH THIS CODE AND IM IN COLLEFE FOR GAME DEVELOPMENT RIGHT NOW!!!
Comment from : @snipeh

@validpostage
can confirm i taught this code to a few friends and uses it to pass notes :) thanks for your hard creative work !
Comment from : @validpostage

@samuelallgaier5307
I can’t specifically remember passing PSA code notes in school, but definitely did at church between siblings and cousins hahabrbrThat, and labeled tons of things around the house with sticky notes using the PSA code
Comment from : @samuelallgaier5307

@9558able
I wanted to use the code in school, and learned how to write my name with it But I was the unpopular kid and no one liked me, so I never got to use it in notes
Comment from : @9558able

@samsee_ca
Every conspiracy theory is falsebrbr…or is that just what “they” want you to think?
Comment from : @samsee_ca

@naythingalpin5937
In grade school me and my best friend who send notes in the PSA code so the teacher couldn’t read them
Comment from : @naythingalpin5937

@royaleegg7362
crab face and puffle farter
Comment from : @royaleegg7362

@ElmWho
I used the code in school
Comment from : @ElmWho

@Alcornoky
Oh yeah, this code stuck in my head when I was a kid, but I remember being a little angry with it because in some mission you have to decypher a lock, the word was key, sounds simple, right? well, it's not when you played this in Spanish, the word for key in Spanish is llave, and I didn't got any hint to try in other language, hell, I didn't knew English by the time, I couldn't solve that mission until some random penguin told me it was key and I was so grategul with them
Comment from : @Alcornoky

@wishdere
to add to the cipher rolling over after Z, spreadsheet programs use base 26 (with letters) so the columns go Y, Z, **AA**, AB, AC
Comment from : @wishdere

@Damjes
You may check out Elian script and how it works
Comment from : @Damjes

@TheHirou
I'm late but yes, I used them a lot in class lol, it was really easy to make the chart if you didn't remember the characters by heart
Comment from : @TheHirou

@patrickmiller2222
As soon as I saw the code I remembered what the cipher is, brings back good memories I never passed notes in class with this (although I wouldn't be surprised if my brother and I did at home and I just forgot it), but me and my best friend at the time were absolutely inspired by it and came up with our own code that we passed in an old highlighter we emptied out and took the cap off of Its been a lot of fun watching these videos back and getting hit by nostalgia and learning the behind-the-scenes Thanks!
Comment from : @patrickmiller2222

@wege8409
The addition of the x and o concept to pig pen code is genius, makes it so there's something to remind you of tic tac toe I wonder how many kids actually figured it out without help
Comment from : @wege8409

@juaniferritto165
Hey Chris, i´m really late to this video but I wanted you to know that not only did I use the heck out of this code in primary school, but we had a whole Club Penguin in real life thing going on We made our own Player Cards out of paper to exchange information, made spy phones out of cardboard; we had a "club penguin notebook" where we would draw and tell stories about our penguinsbrI learned how to make websites and started learning graphic design (that eventually became my job) just so I can make a blog about Club Penguin with a friend (I wish I never took it down, it's a great memory)brClub Penguin literally made my childhood and changed my life, and I'm forever thankful to you and the rest of the team for thatbrYour videos are awesome! Can't wait to see more
Comment from : @juaniferritto165

@eggsnham
This code is iconic enough that I would write a message in it and post it on a server completely unrelated to club penguin and a bunch of people would decipher it and report as agents lol
Comment from : @eggsnham

@iamthinking2252_
I remember learning this in schoolbrbrAnd writing a love letter in it (or some other sappy thing), with some English translation
Comment from : @iamthinking2252_

@Jaja32222
I did use this code in third grade with my friends! I even made a version using bopomofo, the traditional Chinese phonetic alphabet haha
Comment from : @Jaja32222

@JNJNRobin1337
i forgot how to the codebrwhat do the ending mean?
Comment from : @JNJNRobin1337

@LifelineUwU
I never used the code in school because I didn't have any friends who were as obsessed with club penguin as I was, but I still remember that I had the password for my old laptop written down using that code and I kept the sticky note with it on it inside of my copy of one of the club penguin ds games lol Didn't help since I would always forget it but little me thought I was so smart for doing that lol
Comment from : @LifelineUwU

@TheMasaposo
I dont remember any specific instances where me and my friends passed notes with this code, BUT I remember so many kids in our grade being obsessed with it (and that other code with the big X) At some point everyone figured it out or was taught the code so it fell out of style I guess lol So much for being SECRET agents
Comment from : @TheMasaposo

@anshsoniYT
If I remember correctly I learned how to decode the messages because I saw the 3 tick tack toe grids scribbled in my sister's note book I never googled it, because I didn't even think I could or even needed to It was like this secret piece of knowledge my sister passed down to me
Comment from : @anshsoniYT

@matuchuru
Why u didnt make the space for letter Ñ?
Comment from : @matuchuru

@JadeJuno
I tried using the code in school, but the friend I tried to use it with didn't understand it (we both played Club Penguin)brbriI had used that code just to invite him to my home lol/i
Comment from : @JadeJuno

@PedroHenrique-zff
I used to play detective games in the backyard of my house and even made up a 'secret agency' with a friend and my younger brother brmy brother, she and i were VERY into club penguin at the time and we did our little secret agents games heavily inspired by club peguin, although i think it was already the start of the EPF at that time, the very last few days of the PSA i recall even having a cypher code too, but i think we did not use the PSA one, rather, if i remember correctly, we were inspired by yours and tried to create one, as childrens ideas goes, i dont think it lasted that muchbrbtw your videos actually made me remember of these childhood times, which i had forgotten, thank you!
Comment from : @PedroHenrique-zff

@heccus
My friend and I used to write letters to each other, and at the bottom we would write something in the PSA code It was usually an inside joke written in code so only we could get it
Comment from : @heccus

@Popotato7777
Still my favorite coded abecedary i only used itlike twice in school to add my 8yr old signature to stuff XD And no wonder the Aunt Artic reveal felt so deserved, it was planned all along
Comment from : @Popotato7777

@Mark-kt5mh
Yes, I used the code! I loved it so much I made a monospace font with it and had my computer mostly in it
Comment from : @Mark-kt5mh

@EriksGarbage
encoded swears at 4:02brCRABFACE!!brPUFFLE-FARTER!!
Comment from : @EriksGarbage

@sonickidd127
how to bring bacj numbers (yes i know its shutdown, i want to make another step-by-step guide)brstep 1 work a little more on the filter/detection ai so it can detect more complex and specific things like zip/postal codes, home addresses, and morebrstep 2 test the ai relentlessly to make sure everything works absolutley perfectly (we dont want those devious black market owners bypassing shipping addresses and credit cards)brstep 3 actually put this new filter/detection ai into the game and let people use numbers againbrstep 4 you win
Comment from : @sonickidd127

@thedarkpixel6087
You might wanna know the reach your code had, so I'm gonna start this by telling you I'm from MexicobrbrWhen I was in 4th grade elementary school (around 9 years old) I had actually just moved into a new school, so I was actually the new kidbrbrA very big group of kids there where REALLY into club penguin, and they got me into it too, for me, The agency thing was actually secret enough for me to not find out by myself even though they knew and they just didn't wanna tell me all about it, and even when they did I didn't believe thembrbrHowever, I do remember that there was this time when I finally got into the agency thing but I hadn't yet learned the code by memory, BUT THEY DID and they actually used it not to pass notes but as a cheating paper instead where they put things that they thought would be in the test and just couldn't really memorize, for me, it was the coolest thing and sort of an aspiration to be "that good of a secret agent" And honestly just remembering that feeling makes me so happy, thank you for all that fun
Comment from : @thedarkpixel6087

@NewPemmie
I absolutely loved this code, and I am amazed at how you were the one to create it To this day I still remember the code layout, for it was so simple but so effective brbrA story of when I had used it in real life: I wrote down the formula for the code on a piece of paper next to my PC I went away for an hour or so, to find either my brother or father had written a curse word on that same piece of paper using that code Lol!
Comment from : @NewPemmie

@ceriseone4919
Hello! I sent those codes around to my friends during middle school and high school! It was so much fun!
Comment from : @ceriseone4919

@builderbosc
Huh, I kinda thought as a kid that aunt artic knew so much was BECAUSE she was a secret agent, not the other way around
Comment from : @builderbosc

@EvesterBee
I was obsessed with spies as a kid and had all sorts of spy kits and books I remember copying this code out into a notebook and trying to learn it I didn’t really have many friends though so didn’t use it to chat with people, but I’d write myself short secret notes!
Comment from : @EvesterBee

@CLTurtle
12:31 I've watched this video several times, yet I just noticed for the split second at the end, a secret code I translates tobrbrEvery conspiracy brtheory is falsebr bror is that just what br"they" want you to think?

Comment from : @Joshdelgroove

@jerichotaetz
My friend and I had this thing totally memorized We had it so down that we could glance at a note passed in class and know exactly what it said
Comment from : @jerichotaetz

@donutdownpour6959
had a kid in my high school whom i noticed at some point had written something on his notes in the psa code i didn't remember exactly how it worked and wouldn't have had enough time to decipher it manually, but it was cool to see nonetheless

Comment from : @MrTodd2

@kelseybarton
I passed notes to my bestie with the club penguin code :) we also used to write messages on the white boards and we would copy them down into the last page of our notebooks in case the teacher erased it before we could decode :)
Comment from : @kelseybarton

I sent notes using this language back and forth with my family and friends, did a birthday around it, but not school notes
Comment from : @zooycuddle9207

@georgedincu1776
No bs, Club Penguin was a big part of my childhood, you guys actually helped me learn English and you introduced me to cryptography, I always used the cp code as a kid and as an adult i learned how to encrypt and decrypt in all sorts of transposition and supposition from the basic monoalphabetical ciphers to more complex Cryptograms and ciphers are a big passion of mine nowadays and you are basically the reason, so thank you for that and for all that was club penguin!
Comment from : @georgedincu1776

@browntubeedits
I remember righting down the number of Gary’s socks to show my friends If you don’t know it changes every time lmao

@kath9088
I never passed notes using this code, but my father used to leave me little messages written in it from time to time for fun! brAlthough he was never a Club Penguin fan, we both loved doing the missions together and generally enjoyed pretending to be spies 😂
Comment from : @kath9088

@anythefox1207
Me and my friends not only used that in class, but we also created a "club" where all our "official documents" were written with this code xDbrBeing 13 never was so intense xD
Comment from : @anythefox1207

@andrewhamel1
Just so you know! We used the code at my elementary school There was maybe 5 of us in my class? We always referred to each other as agents and always had our own versions of the missions, that we played in the yard, especially in winter
Comment from : @andrewhamel1

@FluffleOW
Chris, I can confirm that my friends and I used the secret code to pass notes at school We felt like total spies! 😅

I didnt pass messages in school sadly, but i remember being able to fully understand and retain the code So after playing the first club penguin ds game I was able to beat the second one without ever having to look at a code sheet I do also remember on a couple of school papara for awhile writinf out words in the secret code I dont rememebr what i wrote but i think it was just single random worda just to mess with the teachers
Comment from : @PokeCrafter02

@vector5885
For that last part: I didn't pass notes in class with the code because I was the only big club penguin nerd that I knew other than my sister, but I did teach all my friends the code and I still have some books and pages that have has messind around with the code lmao
Comment from : @vector5885

@DorianC
I love how you wonder what we thought about the game just as much as we wonder about how the game was made 😂
