Just can't get over the maturity of Alcaraz Hope so much that the huge wins he's sure to have in the coming years don't affect him in a negative way, ie he stays grounded, etc Not sure I've seen a 20 year old so poised, humble, evolved, tenacious and on and on and on There is a lot of Nadal in him, but he is more likeable, in my opinion He should be the king of tennis for some time to come and if he continues to carry himself this way, the sport will be in good hands

It really doesn't matter how hard one can hit a ball or how much of a beautiful game tennis is In any sport the best athlete and the most intelligent one only needs to be two or three steps ahead of his /her opponent That will give us an epic match such as we witnessed However it is not the most important aspect of the performance! What matters is the class, the humility , the joy that Carlos Alcaraz, a 20 year old, brings to the game The level of emotional maturity this 20 year old brings to the court in contrast to someone like Nick Kyrgios, Sascha Zverev ( He is now behaving since most of his sponsors have left him, after his appalling treatment of his girlfriend was on display and also he is nearly 26 years oldI am disgusted at ATP that people like him and Nick Kyrgios and Nikoloz Basilashvili are still allowed to play BTW ) is second to none Even when he is losing, he does not throw a tantrum and does not ruin or dump his negative emotions onto the spectators He smiles and tries his best on the next point Novak is a wonderful player, one of the best in his generation, however he is a child in a man's body, he perpetually barks at his box or pretends not to be well when he is losing, or at best he may not be pretending and failing does really make him crumble again like a child! He only considers the spectators when he needs them This very disregard for the fans causes him and most other players on the court to behave the way they do, NOT the so called compassion they have for hitting a silly ball for millions of dollars Unlike Carlos AlcarazPlease people, watch Carlos and understand that compassion and respect for the game and the fans does not have to display itself as a rogue gorilla roaring on the court, but by showing grace and sharing what it means in a way a 21st century person ought to be able to display ( I did see Carlos banging on the chair which was unusual, I am hoping good people around him to correct this before he too is another silly person on the court )
