Might be a culture thing but I find it bizarre the idea of sending a thank you email to the interviewer after going for a job when you thanked them in person at the end of the interview Especially as many companies don't bother to let you know if you haven't been successful

Can you provide a few words of wisdom about writing a thank you note for receiving money? this is definitely useful as a job searcher for the past two months, I never put my attention to the thanks notes after the interview I used to think it is optional, while after reading you thanks note, I probably will offer the job to you if I am the HR under the situation that the interview is not bad Also, I found how to appreciate someone appropriately is extremely crucial, like the repetitive kind words could sometimes make it looks like kissing ass, so i guess the point here is to show some real content to express the gratefulness and appreciation

I would like to note that even if the person DID give you the item in person, if you did not open it in front of them it is also polite to write a written note It lets them know that you opened it and is much more personal than the "thank you" you may have said when they handed you the sealed card/ wrapped present

I always write personal thank-you notes When I was sixteen, a family friend knitted me a beautiful, warm blanket I put off writing her a thank-you, and she passed away suddenly before I could thank her for sch a personal gift I'm always going to regret thatbrbrIt feels weird to send them at first, but gets easier Send them and send them often! It only takes a few minutes and can really make somebody's day

this seems odd because I'm 30 and I've never sent or received a thank you note brand it's not that I don't give things to people it's that it's not considered socially appropriate I guess it's not inappropriate, it's just not done bremails and texts or even mms pictures of the thing arriving in the mail those are sent, but not formal hand written notesbrthe most formal thing I've gotten is that one time I loaned two thousand dollars to my girlfriend and she got me flowers (and also the money I loaned her I got that back too), but no note
