As a college student studying in photography, we use exactly the d3000 from Nikon and they have wonderful results and excellent pictures They're fun and easy to use The only thing I can see a draw back, is that there is no beautiful digital display like the new cameras have nowadays Compared to a 500$ camera like the Canon T7, Nikon's d3000 is still hardly a great camera that can do many same things

2019I still using my D200 for flower shooting CCD color rendering is still unbeatable at 100 iso my family made a way of life with orchids , my pictures go to orchids fanatics of several countriesthey ALLWAYS ask wich camera I usethe old ccd flagship nikon d200in 2019 !!!

Interesting comparison I bought a D200 last year for £100 with 18-70 lens, mainly for using the Ai lenses I have Good point about the focus with the D3000, as my old D3100 has the very same issue Mind you the D3400 that replaced it, nails the focus every time Maybe Nikon finally sorted the AF on the entry level, shame they crippled the bodies from using the older lenses

Hi Matt! At 7:00 you mention that the D200 and D3000 have similar sensors But I'm pretty sure the D200 was one of the last generations of CCD and the D3000 was an early generation CMOS sensor That said, yeah, specs and ISO performance is pretty similar
