Question: will there be any NGC70 WW II 75th Anniversary American Silver Eagles or for that matter, any reverse proof WW II American Silver Eagles? Comment from : Mike Stafford |
I have a 2020 NGC MS69 Silver Eagle emergency issue Comment from : Michael Leftwich |
Some dealers are selling the mint tubes sealed by NGC as 2020 emergency release, and those can be sent back to be individually slabbed if they sky rocket in value The tube mark up isn't as high Comment from : Alice Fields |
I bought one that was ms68 grade for $41 I just thought it might be cool as a remembrance of the first year I got into stacking Comment from : Evilmainer |
For me personally, it's about peace of mind that it's a legit coin when I buy it and when I sell way down the road the person I'm selling it to will have that same peace of mind Comment from : Shane Johnson |
The other one i made sure to get was the 5 oz corona bat Comment from : Crypto elf of Rivendell |
bought one for the collection may get a few more just to flip to some silly ass in ten years from now these last year boys are going to carry a heavy HEAVY premium from here on out Mark my words this year has been wacky af and will go down in history as one of the craziest times Comment from : Crypto elf of Rivendell |
Time for the US Mint to put a tiny MINT MARK on every coin it produces Enough already! Comment from : kevin morison |
I bought a PCGS ms69 one for $50 just to have it Sometimes these pedigree eagles really go up in value, but most of time they just stay at one price So for me buying one is a nice investment Comment from : Mlke |
What a load of crap Just for a label Such idiocy Comment from : Andy Slingblade |
IF THE COIN DOESNT HAVE THE MINT IT WAS PRODUCED AT, THE LABEL WILL BE WORTH SOMETHING, BUT THE COIN IS A LOSER Comment from : Mr MOGOM |
So probably my biggest mistake yet but I did it for a reason brI just bought the ms69 so the cheaper of the Philadelphia emergency run Why would I buy this ??? Ok here I go ! brSilver wolverine I bought this coin because I am buying lots of 2020 dated products to leave my children one day with the purpose of maybe they have a chance to cash out on it once I’m long and gone Also so I can teach them the history of what happened to our planet and there county in 2020 brSo maybe a dumb purchase but it’s for the history not really the collecting of this piece brSo even if they end up being like $99 later on they made at least a little bit brI did do my research on this kind of thing before I purchased this it was $69 and I’ve payed more for things on auctions so why not give it a try lol 😂 Comment from : Savage Stacker |
Uh, that is a big fat "NO" The eagles will simply HAVE to have some distinguishing feature, not what is on the holderbrFind a marker that is obvious and it will be so, if not, then no way Comment from : Eric Dawson |
And I don't know if this is 100 correct, but when I read about the release of these it sounds like only PCGS and NGC are the only ones who have graded these Again, it's just what I read brIt said what the label on the slab will read and only mentioned those two grading companies Comment from : David Garrison |
I bought 3 already I think they are legit and don't think PCGS would be involved in a scandal or put their reputation on the line I think these will go up in value not only because of the low Philadelphia mint but because of why they were made there Just my opinionbrI paid $229 for a PCGS MS70 and $70 a piece for 2 NGC MS69brSince I bought, haven't received yet, the prices have gone up a lot Comment from : David Garrison |
So the only way a regular Joe blow like us can get one of these monster boxes is by getting lucky But It sounds like a sure profit for the US Mint, Big coin dealers and grading companies The big coin dealers will get first dibs on these monster boxes send them out for grading and then sell them to us Joe blows and make 500 profit The Joe blow always gets screwed in the end You don' think this is planned by the US Mint, Dealers and grading companies? Their are dishonest companies in every industry And the US Mint is one of the biggest culprit Comment from : Mario M |
Scam Alert Comment from : Chris Johnson |
I've been burned before by the US Mint They can create a rarity on a whim and it's still nothing more than a modern-day common issue I'll pass every time!!! Comment from : James Burnett |
Look how much the 2015 (P) Eagles are selling for now And ppl are buying them so I think it might be a great flipping opportunity Comment from : Lost For words |
they could be the last eagles ever minted, ever?????? cheers Comment from : steve j |
Anybody who pays hundreds for a BU 2020 Silver Eagle with no mintmark deserves what happens next Comment from : Master Stacker |
😂🤣 YA! Let’s grab that 1 MS70 instead of some tubes of straight BU Eagles! Not a chance stack for weight Stack for the future 🤙 Comment from : BIGJK |
I am a silver hoarder for survival , yes i do have an eye for old coins , but care less to collect them I have many hobbies from restoring cars , motorcycles , or anything unusual , love the outdoors , and love good pussy I won't pay for crap like these , don't fall for it Comment from : EivinSukoi |
All my 2020 eagles are from Philadelphia Because I said so ! 👍🏻 lol 😂 Just buy gold w/ that money Please no one waist your time on fancy slabbed eagles IMHO ! Comment from : Savage Stacker |
Oh! I totally trust everyone’s word on where these are minted Lol these things are going to be counterfeited by be thousands br Real eagle, fake slab, 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤔🤔🤔br Thank you for the heads up on these Comment from : Savage Stacker |
Hell no Comment from : Charles gordon |
Charles Ponzi endorses the Philadelphia Mint SAE Comment from : Harry Balls |
Rip off I wouldn't pay extra for that type of coin Comment from : Glen H |
Here's my rule for slabs i would consider, if it isn't older than 64 and greater than 64, it's not for me Comment from : youKnowWho3311 |
with the demand, the 2020 will be struck at greater numbers So no, 2020 coins will not be rare This is a scam Comment from : maritimezhang |
Anyone who sends ASE'S to get graded needs to get their head checked Comment from : Real Fire |
I missed mine this year Great video good info Comment from : Tsquare Talk |
Yeah, in 2016 many eagles that should have been struck at Westpoint were struck in Philadelphia and even more were struck in San Francisco PCGS and NGC even made up special labelsbut you had to bring the mint sealed box to the gradedmeaning if you opened the monster box, you’re out of luck! I think the 2016’s from San Francisco had a Sharpie serial number that started with the number 4brI saw one monster box for sale on eBay for a while, but it never sold to my knowledge I think the graded trolley car labels commanded a few extra dollar premiumbut I think most monster boxes are openedso nobody really is sure how many are out there, Comment from : Rich Winslow |
I would not pay so much for a Silver Eagle At the price shown you could buy a Gold one! Comment from : shekatagani |
I love collecting I've paid over 100,000x melt for a copper cent I like having some TPG slabbed ASE's and other Sovereign Minted ounces I like completing a series If you can't tell the difference by looking at a coin where it was made then there is no difference and any premium is buying the slab not the coin One the other hand, if you find a die marker on one that's in a holder, PM me please The reality is how many ounces you have and you are happy with what you are doing now, are the only things that matter as far as silver goes Comment from : edthelorax |
Silver is as Silver doesbrI am getting worried that the trade could wear thin for awhile Comment from : Sulphate 33 |
Very good videobrI’m new here, is that a Chicago accent? Comment from : Paul |
Thanks, I will definitely not buy this Like you I am a stacker but a little extra over spot is fine Comment from : MA UP |
Nope They can keep them Comment from : Will Weed |
If you pay more for a Silver Eagle supposedly struck at the Philadelphia mint instead of the West Point mint, you are just paying for the little piece of paper in the holder That makes absolutely no sense Comment from : Gary S |
Dude, awesome vid, didn't know about that 2015 ASE was minted at the P mint and now they are going to do it all over again? And the worst part it seems is that the only way to get any of these P mined ASE would be on the secondary like eBay or Coin shows Ouch! Comment from : Son Of A Silver Stacker |
Sounds like a load of crap again just like the San Francisco ones from 2011 that made only 100,000 and only the boxes of 500 had the proof Comment from : encepurdy68 |
The problem with them is there is NO identification on the coin or no discerning changes in design or consistent errors showing it is from Philly mint Only way is the boxes which are available to no one (well bullion dealers) brbrSo no big deal at all A great way to scam people or a ridiculous reason to charge more Comment from : alphabet661 Chris Sahar |
That dealio in 2015 felt like HSN Mike and his graders were trying to pull a fast one Without a mint mark, no one can prove anything Period It’s sad that people get scammed like this Comment from : HiSteve |
Silver Wolverine, I hope you get Philadelphia Mint American Silver Eagles Did you end up ordering 2020 Silver Eagles? I hope if you do order ASEs and they are from Philadelphia, they are all MS70s Comment from : gold maple |
I'll pass, thanks for the info Comment from : Big Bomber Stacker |
Lol 2000 dollars for a ms70 eagle that you have to take somebody's word on that it was struck at Philadelphia mint That's just insane Comment from : Silver cat |
I wouldn't take anyone's word on that especially some of these big companies claiming to have them I would have to have something struck on the coin Comment from : Silver cat |
No, I would not care where they were struck and would not pay additional money for them Comment from : Silver Cobra |
No Comment from : Donald H |
Here we go again Not interested myself Like you, I try to get them as cheap as possible Where they were made doesn’t matter to me Thanks SW! Comment from : Talking Bullion |
They will label them from PCGS or NGC and stick a big premium on them after grading !!! Some idiots will pay for them,oh wait !!! I'm an IDIOT !!! I have a 2015 and a 2017 PCGS Philadelphia ASE, oh, well !!! Comment from : Ken Bronte |
