This makes a lot of sense Perfect video for me who are thinking I should start learning some coins However, there is a video series on bobo, showing the different moves that i assume is a great companion to the book With that in mind, would you still recommend doing it in the order you suggested in this video? 🙂

I hate to differ, but the second (Magic Inc,) version of MCM does not contain anything that usefuAside from a few ilustrations of gaff coins that you don't need until you buy the gaff, or after you buy the gaff for that matter

I love your videos on one coin and 2 coin drills But there are other books that teach very easy coin tricks Mark Wilson, comes to mind Jon Tremaine's the Amazing Book of Magic has "amazing" tricks in it Also Nicholas Einhorn's the Illustrated compendium of magic has some awesome tricks in, but you are right, you need to have Bobo The techniques get much more complicated as you explain Unfortunately, I am still working on your 1 and 2 coin drillsThey are a bit more challenging than one might think

When I bought Bobo 20 year ago I found It incomprehensible I read It again after studyng Roth's videos and I started understand It and find gems It Is like math, you cant understand calculus if you dont study arithmetic first

I was a volunteer for a Bobo show when I was around 8, so I have a soft spot for him, and I own some Bobo ephemera I also managed to get the original (reprint) and the expanded That said I get where you're coming from

Great video for beginners, Thanks Rick Coin magic can and IS daunting And that is part of its charm I Also started with Bobo, and quickly put it back in the shelf while I kept learning easier automatic card tricks My first video was " In the begining there where coins" by Jay Noblezada Nothing ground breaking but informative enough to ease you in After that Roth brbrI would also like to mention some resources in SPANISH, there are 2 books: MONEDAS BLANDAS by Armando de Miguel and MONEDAS INCRESCENDO By Manuel Cuesta Both are beginner to mid-level books Good place to start if you are looking for literature in Spanish
