The old adage says "a bird in the hand is worth two in the bush" I think I would do the tax event year by year and keep it at home or in reasonable proximity Late in life, not much stacked, so I might like to have enough to pay taxes when dollars are unavailable Comment from : Toivo Torvinen |
I know of a man and his daughter who owned a hardware store for years For some reason every time someone paid with a $ 20 bill, the $20 bill did not go in the cash register, but rather his pocket The daughter did not know the ultimate destination of these bills, until years later, after the man died She went to clean his house to settle the estate and opened a chest freezer To her amazement, there were hundreds of $20 bills in the chest freezer Comment from : Robert Williams |

Is anyone going to ask the real question? Where to hide the Bodies of those you catch trying to steal your silver? 🤔 Comment from : Gregory Serpan |
I'm in a rural area, I can keep as much as I want in a safe, I can see anyone coming from a 1/4 mile away, and if I don't, my driveway alarms will sound, or one of my 4 German Shepherds will alert me IF IM HOME Great point about electricians and plumbers Redundancies are a great point Dummy safes are a great idea, out in the open to stall the bad guys if you're not home They can be inexpensive, but bolted down, Keep quiet about what you have and vote TRUPM 2024! Comment from : ReeferGil |
Absolutely awesome! Keep up the fun and hard work! Thanks guys Comment from : CelestriumMusic |
Will give this a long long thought, a lot of great info though Thanks 💙 Comment from : Sky Love |

I have a small fireproof safe with no valuables in it It contains old books that any thief would just dump if they stole them but the safe ilooks/i very tempting I don't want to bolt it to my nice hardwood floor So, I put as many lead diving belt weights in there as I could fit Now it's so crazy heavy that any thief who breaks in and steals it will get a hernia If they do manage to get it out of my house, they will be bummed beyond belief at the pitiful contents Comment from : Mathematician |
I have one designated Silver Britannia that I handle with bare hands I have put a small dot of nail varnish on the capsule, so I don't mix it up Any of the mass-produced coins are great for that It feels great and reminds of how much more precious some of the other ones are 🙂 Comment from : Libelle |
Simple securitybrbrYou have two or three safes, one safe is the sacrificial safe which has a small amount that you can afford to lose, something that is not easy to find but not too hard to findbrbrAnother safe as your daily use safe thats well hiddenbrbrThe vault safe being placed somewhere that is not easy to access, is security hardened and well hidden Comment from : Mark Giblin |
Also, get the added home insurance that would happen to pay you for the loss Comment from : Elyse Lieberman |

I think the biggest concern is criminals brake in when your home and hold you at gunpoint They in most cases don't care about time They see a gun safe that huge and heavy a top end liberty safe Out comes a 357 mag or a 9mm at your wifes head They look at me and say open the safe or she dies That is a bad scenario A fentanyl addict would pull the trigger Comment from : Gary Hennessey |
there was a lady in my area that is friends with my grandma, and she said she had around 300k worth of gold and silver stolen from her house, so clearly she didn't have a proper safety net for it! Comment from : Noah Joseph |

It's funny listening to where everyone suggests hiding their stash I have a friend that was very fortunate and amassed 7 figure amounts of gold and silver, and he hid his stuff in every one of the places mentioned in this video (including honeypot methods) Funnies part is he ended our 25 year friendship during Covid Lucky for him I still honor my oaths and promises but I'm sure walking away has forced him to dig everything up anyway, just in case Comment from : Beocca |

What no one seems to think of is that it's not where you keep it prior to SHTF; it's where you keep it after -- because the first time you cash any of it in, or use it in barter, people are going to know and word will spread and at that point it becomes a problem keeping it Comment from : Ann Williams |
I have a better idea: bury them in your backyard Comment from : Interstate 80 |
Best is to just hoard to the point you can put in anywhere and just the odds say they never find it Plus when they ransack the house it still looks mostly the same Comment from : Da H |
Main reason for a decoy is if they have a gun to your kids head You have a safe to open and get them going Also keep any stash in parts Anything valuable Money, guns, ammo Maybe daughters? :) The only thing worse than losing some of your stash is losing all of it Comment from : Da H |

Don’t let anyone know you stack That will keep most stackers safe since many thieves know their victims Even identity theft is typically someone the victim knows After that keep your stack secured across multiple areas Home, office, underground, etc In the house do not store bullion in a master bedroom or home office Those are the first rooms a thief hits Comment from : Edward Midcrest |

You did not address using an inert gas to replace the air in an airtight container before sealing it I know that Amazon sells spray cans of Argon gas that is heavier than air and would replace the air in a container before putting the lid on Is this something you would recommend doing? Comment from : Dave Fuelling |
