I’ve started and stopped with game dev a few times and always think to go back…just need the time! The commercial game market is so saturated that it’s hard to stick out…same as every other artistic industry…Once you don’t care if what you make, makes any money, it frees you to JUST HAVE FUN making something!

I'm visually impaired but have enough vision that i can play video games and I love it, I have been trying very hard for years to get a "9 to 5" job to no luck I have even gotten an IT certification because I love computers, I am now thinking of trying to make my own game and this is very inspirational I have tried learning code and I feel like its a hard task for me I hope to try making a game with no code and hope it works out for me to be able to make something that people can have fun with and make somewhat of an income from

Code is just that thing that you really enjoy and cant stop messing with but at the same time absolutely hate especially when you have glitches or bugs to fix and you cant figure it out and have to manually read line by line and figure it out, hasn't happened to me yet but i know its down the road

I had a thought perhaps it's nuts but ! Ok Nintendo the gun they had ok now rig it to be wireless and here's the kicker it works on smart tvs and when you poi t and shoot lil blood spots fly ok it works like the game but if you see someone on TV that you want to smoke we'll whala Ok perhaps it's not a total solution to the thrill Elvis had but just as fun and no dead tvs

Really cool, I started with C2 alsowell, I did do some C++ before, but it was all text based games C2 opened up the door for my imagination to run wildexcept for the 100 event limit due to only having the free version of C2

Just ran into this from a newsletter from the game dev marketplace Great to see this content Ive been developing secretly on my own for a few years and have yet to come out of my hole to the internet, BUT recently have started assisting high schools create gaming clubs and branching off into the industry, where I'll also actually teach game development Idk why I didn't also think about starting a community for game developers who are already here, when my entire portfolio and skill set is buildings communities for a living Truly, thank you for the encouragement, the inspiration, and motivation to get out of my subconscious in development
