I graduated with an electrical engineering degree in 2016 It was one of the hardest things which took a lot of time & effort, but it’s very rewarding I am truly proud & grateful in my career path I am 27 years old and make over $140k USD annually working for a utility company

I live in Russia, my major is applied mechanics, I struggle with this choice, I wanna be a programmer (maybe even graphics programmer, I wrote my own game engine and I know programming very well), but I already have a place where I can go to work as a mechanical engineer, but I do not like it, so I do not know what to do Study programming more and more or switch all of my time to mechanical engineering Software engineers have bigger salaries of course That place to work may bring me to work in china (I would like)

I like how in the degree type chart you skipped over business, finance and economics, and law, as if they don’t exist as means of becoming rich It’s easier to be a rich lawyer than a rich engineer and the rich lawyer often has more than the rich engineer The business and finance and economics degrees can secure you a job in a large investment banking firm or hedge fund, where you could become very rich To make billions, you wouldn’t want to be an engineer unless you want to be an inventor who got rich off their ideas You should choose business

I really enjoy your videos and you have quality content for 4K subs but the title of the video is do engineers make good money and you talked about which billionaires have engineering degrees I feel like this video should have been half experience and half statistics I know you try very hard to make interesting videos but people really look towards your YouTube channel for your experience on being an engineer I think a 50/50 split on stats to experience would be a good outlook for this channel I would really like to see you succeed

I'd consider double majoring as well if you're going for the entrepreneurial road If your second major is STEM, it should be CompSci, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or Mathematics If it's outside that loop, I'd recommend business, economics, communications, or linguisticsbrbrI chose linguistics so I can learn more languages in a methodical manner, as I want to do business outside of the US as well
