People might "understand" this stuff intellectually, but not in a practical sense I live in a foreign country and when I take out cash to pay the rent, sometimes my rent is lower, sometimes it's higher It all depends on what the dollar is doing I'm not saying there is some huge conspiracy going on but WHY don't they teach this stuff in public schools? Silver is not an investment It’s a hedge/ store of value 1 oz silver is 1 oz of silver It’s not about the dollar price of silver it’s about how much silver do you own Dollar price of 1oz of silver will go up yet that same 1oz will buy the exact same thing So silver didn’t “go up” it just prevented you from losing purchasing power

You are right 100 per ounce is not out of the question Crypto's is just another way for the rich man to hide his money It's that simple You can only put so much into the stock market and it becomes overleverged Only so much into bonds and its tied down So create something digital for their digital currency and problem solved except they need to legitimize it by getting the masses involved so you won't buy up all of their cheap manipulated silver Me I will take physical delivery of real silver on the cheap right now as much as I can afford to get before they catch on and make it unobtainable

What do you think about rare and valuable coins as a hedge against inflation? The reason I ask is because recently I've been selling off most of my generic silver bars and rounds to buy coins I normally couldn't afford but I don't really do it to make money, I'm just more interested in collecting coins than I am stacking generic silver but I have been keeping all my non generic silver like Canadian Maple leafs, silver eagles and that type of stuff

The last time we had a financial crisis (2008) it took 3 years to see silver hit all times high, this time we saw the economy take a hit in 2020 ( due to the pandemic) so with that said taking in consideration what has happen the last time (Money printing which this time makes 2008 look like a dwarf compared to the printing we are facing now!!) i would say its a fair judgment to say that we could very possibly see silver hit new record by 2022 (3 years lag)

I like your understanding of silver, a rare commodity, that holds it's value against other goods and services It is not intended to be an investment, which yields a return One little bit you don't make clear is that investments (stocks, etc) should rise in price with the eroding dollar Additionally, investments are designed to yield a profit, although that is not guaranteed I keep a mix of metals and stocks so I will make a return and hold value against inflation, which I'm sure is on the horizon
