when mining the next block, do all of the miners in a mining pool use the same set of transactions pulled from the mempool? Do all the miners in the mining pool start hashing at zero nonce? Comment from : karich21 |

Thanks for the great breakdown on mining. Do solo miners automaticly create their own node ....when operating /support of the blockchain network ? Comment from : Dave Arthur |

But how to prevent miners in the mining pool from calculating the same nonce? Maybe it's low efficiency in a disordered state. Comment from : Charls Meng |

Still didn't get the part on why a miner that founds a nonce that allows adding a block wouldn't just go ahead and submit it as if it was mining solo. Would love to here a bit more elaboration on that. But my guess is that it could be because the miners in the pool don't have the whole block information for which they're finding the nonce. So they simply cannot submit it. And I guess that trying to guess the block by collecting transactions in different orders so that the header matches the one sent by the pool is near to impossible. One answer I am missing in this explanation is: How is it then taken into account that certain participants in the pool have a higher/lower difficulty rate? Comment from : Thoth |

Hi Andreas, I would love to know your opinion on Custodial Lighting services like Strike - how exactly do they work, are they secure/decentralized/censorship resistant enough? And are the “Non-custodial" ones like Eclaire or Muun really qualified to be called so? Also, can I send my funds somehow from a Lightning-only Wallet to a normal Bitcoin Address? Best Regards Thomas Comment from : Thomas Müller |
