I was at a river once and I say this large, gray, rough looking thing against the shore, and it was moving around a lot too So I walked up to it thinking it was a capsized boat or something, but no! It was a manatee and her calf feeding on grass at the shore! It was the closest I’ve been to a manatee and it was awesome

The native aquatic grasses and seaweeds are dying off due to the high concentration of glyphosate(weed killer)in the water If you use roundup, you are the problem! 700 have been found dead from starvation in just the past 5 months

I have had lots of experiences with manatees, including riding on their backs, removing fish hooks, and other things, but I never saw one come out of the water like thatbr They are wonderful and friendly unless you piss them off
