Personally, I got irritated listening to this because Ive had girlfriends in claustrophobic relationships where I could not get a breath of fresh air without getting blasted with guilt trips (even if my mom was having an emergency, somehow that'san inadequate excuse??) She looks regretful taking about her frustration with her colleague “Guys are so far behind in years of maturity” - not every person would react well to this comment if male or even if you are not a feminist, wonder how I would feel if male client said this to female therapist about women “ I’ve apologised, mistake erased” (my response “To this guy apology equals accountability - job done - I’ve said sorry”) “He apologised , he is nice but yet I am disappointed” (response: a part of you is generous and that other part of you is not having it) Comment from : J KG |
