When Dave was giving his little speech about the coin and the fife was playing, it reminded me of when Oliver Wendell Douglas on Green Acres gave speeches on farming the fife always played as well😁🤘

jlangevin65
I don't think any American coin had an image of a real person until the Lincoln cent in the early 20th Century; I'll bet Rick knows that, but it wouldn't have played as well for television

The reason the king wanted England to be able to admit US coins is still he could flood the market with coins just basically bring them over and toss them out for people to pick up it would have the same effect it's doing today which is rapid inflation and destroy our economy before it even got started
Comment from : Gregory K

telephotousa
These guys usually consistently lowball coins I'm a dealer and though $2000 is way over reality it's a piece he could have offered at least $700 for and made money based on what I see Also I was cringing watching these guys picking up the raw coin in their hands It should have at least been in a 2x2 holder if not a capsule to keep it from getting fingerprinted or damaged if dropped etc
Comment from : telephotousa
