I don't think the boy appreciated being touched in the manner you were touching him The girl was trying to communicate with you in her natural way, and you ignored her That's the same as the silent treatment

ABA should be axed Autistic children are not dogs that learn tricks for food and tickles Instead of spending hours of therapy trying to make them more neurotypical to fit in your worldtry spending those hours getting to know them, their world, their perceptions of it, their ideas of accomplishment or success, and guiding them on their own path, on their own terms, as they navigate their place in the world
