I did a successful test today with a russian friend, you can transfer money to russia using just Binance account (no russian one) and a trustwallet (for the russian recipient), it works like charm

Thanks Tatiana for this video I can feel your struggle quite well As a matter of fact, I've just arrived from an ultra brief and urgent visit to Moscow "just to pay my online Masters fees", since all measures to pay the uni fromy country failed! I had to carry casj with me, exchange it and transfer it to the uni!!brExtremely frustrating indeed I wished my stay in Moscow was for fun and tourism, not to "pay uni fees! :(

Update 9 July 2022 - so far did not find a way to transfer money to Russia through 3rd party transfer companies I've heard there are some banks which are possible to use for a bank transfer (wire I assume), however I only have a Sberbank account so can't test it Many banks are still under sanctions if you have an account in the Russian bank, other than Sberbank, Alfabank, SovKomBank, PromSvjazBank, VTB (and a few others) you can try to double check again if you bank is able to accept transfers from abroad

Hello Tatiana, I US citizen married to Russian and I am currently in Russia A few days ago we asked the bank if they exchange USD for Rubles and they stated they do accept US dollars for exchange

* UPDATE 2 - April 27th * Re PayPal transfer I sent in mid March was refunded because PayPal does not work in Russia The email itself does exist however my teacher's email was on another one, I was told to send to her email so assumed the one I knew Tip: Always double check the email with the sender!!
