Hey you just mentioned YouTube music as a suggestion in this video Maybe you could talk about YouTube and music in a video/podcast, that would be so helpful I have a song registered with PRS here in UK and is in youtube videos as the background music with 5million+ views spread out in different videos PRS paid me nothing even though all the URLs of the videos are submitted and I asked them up front if I do that route will I get paid, they said yes I also asked if the Adsense revenue for creators would be stopped if they paid me, they said no 3 years later I was just ghosted and no money received Haven't seen anyone talk and explain how this process works would love to hear you speak about that and maybe get a good resolve out of this

As music gets easier to make, and AI starts cranking out tunes, shit will get nuts I guess I'm a negative old dude, but I remember when you had to invest a ton into hardware and years to learn how to produce Now it's so much easier, daw, vsts, and that's all you need to crank out music, from idea to mixing to mastering

Hey Reid, when using samples (eg old disco record) in my own tracks and I would like to send it of to labels or release it myself on Bandcamp Is it necessary to get a publishing share with the original label, license the sample and/or clear the sample I have contacted a reissue label to use their tracks and they said 'yes' What would be your view on this?
