as a non musician but an avid music lover this was absolutely incredible to watch One thing I did notice and I have a genuine question about is when he inverts his left stick, Is this done to produce a different sound or is there another reason for doing it or is it just flare?

Hey GraysonbrI have been following you around on Youtube for the past year or two Im thrilled knowing you are sticking with Jazz Most young drummers do not follow that path and the reason why IT'S NOT AN EASY THING TO DObr I love Jazz and Blues I met Buddy Rich around 1964 when I was 15 My Drum Instructor was a Big Band Drummer and when he retired in the early 60s, It was Buddy Rich who replaced him behind the kit I also had the honor to play in 3 shows with Buddy in 1969 when he was doing USO shows for Bob Hope I was 19 Buddy placed 2 kits on stage and he and I swapped licks for those showsbrAnywaysbrI would love to see YOU doing a few shows as the Drummer on the current NEW BUDDY RICH BAND You would do fine sitting behind a kit playing with that BandbrUnfortunately , I doubt Cathy ( Buddy's daughter ) would allow that to happen unless they do another Tribute Show to the Great Buddy RichbrbrBest of luck with your career Stick with Jazz young man
