Not sure if anyone knows the answer to this but I'm visiting my grandma and I brought my Nintendo Switchbr She has a dish network and a remote 201 I can't figure out how to switch it over so I can play the switch The menu doesn't have settings option when I click it & input and everything I've pressed doesn't do anythingbr I've been googling for awhile with no luck but will keep searching If anyone has a solution thanks so much!

So I called Dish tech support and after some really bad troubleshooting by them they tried to upgrade me to a newer receiver I said no thank! Watched your video and got it all sorted put and working correctly 👍

2:13 press WHAT button? on this laptop, it sounds like you are sneezing a lung full of mashed potatoes What if remote is IR and not UHF? where you programmed for tv would have been very nice if you would have done same thing, - SHOW what buttons are being pressed - to program the receiver

The key is to make sure the device is broadasting an IR signal if that is what you need It can't be seen with naked eye but if you use your telephone and view the front, with it, you can confirm remote is broadcasting an IR signal! Some dual purposes remotes need to have battery compartment opened and the base above it pulled out and flipped and pushed back in, in order to issue IR signal Very important first step!

Programming the remote works for volume, mute and on/off However, it does not work to change the programing from HDMI to TV mode I have an external antenna for local channels which is the TV mode Pressing the TV button on the side of the remote does not allow switching from HDMI to TV mode or programming However, pressing the SAT button on the side of the remote does change from TV programing to HDMI programing Why shouldn't work for TV programing?

i have a BELL remote , 54 IR , 187017 , no learning window on side , like yours , but two clear/white lights on the front , one a little smaller than the other , i have a SONY (DAV-HDX975WF) , 5 disk DVD player and the original remote is getting a little non-responsive at times (batteries are new) but still does not work as sharp as it use to , the STOP button does not work at all , i tried to get the BELL remote to link with the SONY DVD player , i tried all of the numbers 1 through 9 (nothing worked) , did this for both the VCR and AUX buttons (nothing worked ) , i found some SONY codes on-line (70000) and (70490) , tried again for both buttons VCR and AUX , nothing worked again , , , this BELL remote was an extra remote given to me by a BELL service install guy years ago when i had a PVR , in original package , so it is new , undamaged , unused , , , what am i doing wrong ? , are my SONY codes wrong ? , can i use the , two remotes facing each other method ? , if so , how would i do that ?
