I believe we're still in the season of the Reformation God is still able to send revival to our churches, just as He did in 1517 It's not just a one-day thing; it's a process that takes some time In other words, it didn't just happen on October 31 like BOOM! ---- everybody was now free from the Catholic church system; there were still some things that needed to get done before freedom took place, plus many hearts that needed to get changed So I believe that this Reformation celebration should continue I'm a Pentecostal believer, and as Pentecostals we hadn't much of a role to play in the Reformation, mainly because we came in the 1900s; but I thank God for the Azusa Street Revival that took place, because it shows that God can still bring another reformation to the body of Christ And over the centuries, God has, and will still, reform His church and make it into what He originally intended it to be: the pillar and foundation of the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ I hope this Reformation celebration continues Sure, there are many churches today that are falling away from the truth, and I totally agree that this is the sign of the last days But it doesn't mean that God has failed His church; He will still build His church, and never will the gates of Hell prevail against it [Matthew 16:18] So I believe that God can still give us the grace, as well as the ability and willingness to turn back to Him, even in seasons like these when the whole world is falling apart
