You get so much taken away from you when you go through cancer treatments Your body isn’t yours You go through excruciating pain and the treatments are brutal - they are literally killing you taking you to the brink of death to allow you to live All of you who are saying she didn’t need the wig - did you hear what she said in the beginning She wanted a wig to feel normal Her normal You putting your standards of beauty on her dont matter - its what made her feel confident and herself No one knows what she went through or her personal journey If she wanted to wear a wig on her wedding day no one has a right to question that, just like no one has a right to question if she didn’t I hope, and from the looks of it here, she was surrounded by love in her final days RIP Comment from : Gloriously Imperfect |

the thing with cancer is it's not just you seeing yourself as a patient instead of a women, it's all the changes that take place as well that can take away womanhood You loose your hair, gain/lose a ton of weight, gain scars from surgeries and the chemo needles being poked in the same spot for years, even your face shape can change from steroids You just don't look the same and you definitely don't feel pretty at all She spent years with her body changing and not in a good way at all She is young too so I'm sure that never once in her adult life did she see herself as a women or beautiful It made me tear up when she said "I feel like an adult" It is probably the first time she is able to actually see herself as one That's probably why she wasn't able to really pick a dress at first because she couldn't see herself in anything as beautiful as a wedding dress Comment from : DreamerGirlZ |
