Great video Jay! Quick question: Does a bond fund/etf have a maturity date like a regular bond? With a regular bond, I can buy it for a yield known in advance, hold to maturity and I know what to expect, the price fluctuation becomes irrelevant Can I hold a bond etf (TLT for instance) to maturity, does it have a maturity date, can I also know the yield upon buying and know exactly when it will mature so that I can ignore price fluctuations? I like doing it myself if it's the same Also, would it make sense to purchase BDN now while it's down to pick up some of that rise in actual price as it come back? Or does it not work that way?
