Banksy made quite alot of money, but he did come for one thing The Duke of Wellington statue in Glasgow, the statue that is always accessorized with a traffic cone However, every time the council took the cone off the statue's head, It was always returned And Banksy thought it was his favorite piece of art

How is Banksy a millionaire when his art (framed art) only seems to fetch millions of dollars when it’s bsold second hand by people who bought originals through Banksy’s non-profit organization for only hundreds of dollars/b , OR, graffiti art that he sprayed on public buildings that was later commercialized by other people now that Banksy has become famous and a pop-culture name?? brbrIn other words, even though Bansky’s pieces of art have sold for millions of dollars, he wasn’t the one doing the selling and collecting the money

He sold those pics to his friends and by him verifying that the work was real allowed him to sell his work through middlemen while promoting the pieces at the same time There’s no way you for a second can tell me that he sold his art at a pop up for $60 bucks when he could collect millions? BS, part of his mastic is that he gives the illusion that he only cares about expressing his political views through his brand of renegade graffiti that he views as being priceless as far as getting his point across but something he doesn’t see valuable financially making his product worth even more and at this point the pieces you see on walls are just strategic promotional tools left in high valued controversial destinations as a way to gain attention, to create spectacle for people trying to cut out a Government wall or something somewhere for its value, all the time while promoting himself as this faceless human rights advocate with a Robin Hood type spin on it However, you can best believe he’s getting paid from his work and I believe that once a piece becomes epic and in high demand that he has a team of middlemen that he dispatches to make that mean green…Well, at least I would😂😂😂😂😂
