This is a modernized (though downgraded) version of the electronics lab Radio Shack/Tandy used to sell in the mid 1980s I had that and the panel was cardboard, but the entire body was plastic including the bottom The battery compartment was at the bottom of the kit rather than the top It also had a clear plastic cover which protected the components and circuits when not in usebrbrThe instruction book is literally the same one that came with mine, though with an updated cover Comment from : Adamohm |

Elenco, the makers of snap circuits created a similar gadget and it's a tiny bit higher quality in my opinion though it is missing some stuff that the Maxitronix has Also, about snap circuits I mentioned earlier, it is pretty similar except the parts snap together they have a lot of electronics that are seen in normal electronics, like transistors, LEDs, capacitors, etc Comment from : incon |
