i truly do miss TWR and i hope they cancel the mistake known as thomas wood and bring TWR back, who knows? it might happen and i'd love it if they remade some of the older sets like this one(not in thomas wood, that would be just awful), only not make it small and charge a fortune for it but that's just me Comment from : Mike |

I have a theory and I want to know what you think! So this set was very expensive, and learning curve wanted to sell a lot of the stuff that was not selling in this set Instead of selling the stuff separately they put the extra stuff in the "work and wash set" which looks like a downgraded version of this set featuring a lot of the same items! I picked up the set with bin at a local used toys store to find bits and pieces to the set Although these were good pieces, it didn't come with any engines or vehicles I got it with the new style box But to my surprise, mixed in the box was a mountain tunnel with blocks! When I first saw this set cataloged, the grain loader and corresponding car were exclusive to the set until a few more years later around 2003 I believe The grain loader I believe was cataloged for a very limited time anyways I always wanted this set, but even as a kid I knew it would be far too expensive for my parents Still, this is a great set to look back on :D Comment from : Visionary Locomotive Works |
