I'm happy to see anybody who has discovered stamps, and feels positively towards them But, I saw nothing in this book that would qualify as being amongst the "rarest" stamps or 'most expensive stamps' You state you know very little about stamps, so you are excused But I'm wondering why you call yourself the StampGod? All the stamps in this book would sell at 1c each or maybe at a nickel table at a stamp show for kids The best stamps I'm seeing are town and date cancellations There is also a mild (weak) market for fresh stamps with very light or interesting cancels

I have been collecting US stamps for most of my life, I'm 62 years old These are very common US stamps in used, average condition In other words, these are mediocre at best and for a guy who calls himself 'TheStampgod' is, well, full of shit and would be made embarrassed if he showed up at a stamp show

Nice book! However, a few people commenting are sadly correct about just how truly common all of those stamps are This book as is would probably worth $30-50 and that would be aspirational I saw a couple that might be worth about one dollar but most are MCV(minimal catalog value) at about 25 cents
