I trade full time There are dozens of factors which can ruin a trade To be successful you must identify and watch for these This takes a lot of experiencebrbrExample: at 4:14 you sold The chart was in a downtrend, but the most recent swing high was higher than the previous This makes the downtrend invalid or at least questionable on this timeframebrbrYou want to see price move up to 12134 and turn down again That would be a good continuation of the downtrend Instead, price went up and compressed near the resistance This suggests price may breakout higherbrbrFor my methods, the best move is to take no trade here It's not bullish enough to buy, but it certainly isn't bearish enough to sell

from the little experience I have in trading (going all out forex) you need AT MINIMUM a year of backtesting and demoing a proven strategy or devise one and backtest it for atleast 100 days (not of data but of backtesting) to be profitable but once you do get profitable things start stacking up nice and fast

I think of forex is more macro based I trade daily or weekly candles and let them ride for sometimes a month before SL or profit is hit It works pretty well

hey dan check it out try this make a 9 day ema a 10 day sma a 20 day ema and a 50 day ema follow the rules of the 50 and 20 witch are if the candles form below the 50 and 20 its a short if above its a buy but don't trade the pair until the 9and 10 touch one another and do you technical find you trend and your high and low and don't trade against the trend its how i do it and you can scalp 25 to 75 a hr peace take care and good luck oh and don't be so impatient forex is slow but it is profitable if you discipline yourself o but dont think its a atm thats going to work every hr on the hr some days i only get 75 bucks others 500

Old video, I know But you had three advantages that set you apart from the average forex beginner 1) You found good quality free material (BabyPips is good for basics, not necessarily for strategies) 2) You at least tried to learn the basics 3) You understood that indicators, signals, gurus etc are usually - not always - at best worthless Often scams With this you would probably save a year and at least one or two blown accountsbrAnd that youtuber blaming December seems to be an excuse Sometimes volatility is low in December And sometimes it's high Watch volatility, not the calendar
