There's a lot of misinformation and half-truths about inflation coming from the Bank of England and the media at the moment So long as household or individual earnings don't go from below to above the median income, the median income will basically stay the same, ie, we won't experience wage-led inflation Most people asking for pay raises today are earning far less than the median income and aren't asking for anything close to it: people in the bottom 10 of earners make roughly 3 times less than the median wage (in principle, you could triple their income without causing inflation) This money will go back into the economy and create growth
