As a child/teen of the 80/90s Kevin Aucoin was everywhere, especially with the supermodels of the time I bought his books and my girlfriends and I studied them and practiced step by step You know life before YouTube 🤣 Between Kevin, Bobbi Brown, and beauty magazines ( Cosmo and Glamour) that’s how I learned about products and techniques What a simpler time

And i think it's said here already, and mentioned that also in a very elegant way: so many MUA's that are famous now, of course they have their own talents, but was he quite an inspiration for them? I also have his book Making Faces of course!!! But i'm just another makeup addict No, i'm talking about talented people like Charlotte Tilbury also The uptown girl, the girl, all those looks Rebecca, well maybe not all the looks but quite some, you can find in that book, or very close/almost the same Of course famous MUA's have their own style, buthis idea's were, and still are a great help to quite some of them, if i'm honest! Not only Charlotte of course, this entire industry can be greatful for him!!! I never bought makeup from his company, it was not in The Netherlands, maybe now it is It's strange that i don't have anything of his makeup, as i know almost every page of his book, it's in our main house (we're in the beach house now) But this collection is such a nice tribute to him, and love easy colourstories, when i think the formula is great, i'll buy it!!! Thanks, you are, besides i see the quickest makeup looks here and always ending up so beautiful (i never can!), love your energy, your humor, your honesty, you being you, and also love that you are our living Wikipedia here, dear Rebecca, love to learn from all your knowledge!!!!! I love the palette and you definitely made the right choice! I didn’t know these were even out so great find Kevyn was a genius and I remember reading his column in Allure each month before he passed I learned so much from him about shadow and light and how makeup can be multipurpose (a darker concealer to contour, etc…) I have tried most of his foundations and they are all good My fave is the Sensual Skin Enhancer And my first purchase from him was the lipstick Bloodroses It was a gorgeous deep red I loved it!

Ah Kevyn Aucoin He made my first favourite mascara which most do not remember it was a dark black with a shift of red in it It was so cool and it was fun to see people try to figure out what was going on with my eyes If anyone remembers it and knows a dupe for it share!brbrI really liked the Topaz shade on you These palettes are great for new eyeshadow wearers
