Just a note regarding ‘Lost Mode’ on the Apple AirTag A few people mentioned that it improves accuracy - it actually doesn’t help find the device Lost mode enables an NFC message for when somebody finds an AirTag with your details Given the nature of the AirTag, it has no internet connection until an Apple device is near it, so it would never be able to receive a command to improve its accuracy until another device was near at, at which point it would relay its location regardless Comment from : CarExpert |

Why don't people just buy a $30 track phone, setup a gmail account, setup timeline tracking and now you can record audio AS WELL AS the GPS location of the phone? You are leaving out a very important fact that the airtag will alert the occupant of the vehicle that there is a tracking device nearby that does not belong to the person receiving the alert I don’t know whether or not the Samsung device will behave the same way Apple introduced this feature as a way to prevent people from stalking other people by placing an AirTag in their possession, without their knowledge in order to follow their movements If you use an AirTag for the purpose described in this video, understand that the thief will be notified (on their iPhon) of the presence of an AirTag in about an hour after the AirTag leaves the location of its owner Comment from : Jim Hruby |
