Hey Professor, What's the deal with German Militaria from WW2? I have had several listings shot down when I was trying to sell some medals and badges They said it was "Hate Speech" material because of the swastika I don't condone any Nazi ideology, I look at it having historical value But yet I see tons of listings that have swastikas promenantly displayed Coins, stamps, flags, uniforms, etc Even model tanks! Also same goes for Confederate memorabilia, Things with the Rebel flag are considered "Hate Propaganda" But again I see bumper stickers, flags, t-shirts posters, and all kinds of stuff displaying the rebel flag I don't get it? Why is it some people can and some people can't?

Another item to avoid are UPS/FedEx uniforms, even older ones, which can sometimes be found in thrift stores Someone can buy these to impersonate an employee during a home robbery, etc

With regards to guns, it's not just receivers that are banned but rather any part of certain types of guns For example, I once tried to sell the fabric shoulder sling for an SKS rifle (semi-automatic military gun) and they pulled the auction You also have to be aware of foreign laws if you ship internationally A guy in Australia contacted me to ask if I ship there The item he wanted to buy was a WWI era British officer's sword which had a straight blade Alas it's illegal to ship a straight-bladed sword to Australia for some reason, so I had to tell him not to bid

While we are touching on the list of things the government will go after you for if you sell it on ebay, I wanna throw this one topic into the mix I 100 agree with following the rules If you want you can open up your eBay type of site and see what they had to go thru while becoming one of the most secure sites on the web Beware of the buyers that will lie to get money out of a seller and use feedback for leverage Lastly, the federal tax on our labor was supposed to be a temporary tax for the war effort back in the days of World Wars There is also no law mandated that tax It is a voluntary thing We are getting nothing in return for it Let's avoid the divide and rule out there and we the people hold the key in the tax on the labor that built this country before it ceases to exist I wish everyone the best going forward

I found 2 of my auctions with fee for buyer having an international home addresseven tho I shipped to a USA address, state within my auction I do not ship internationally, AND do not have the auction marked to ship internationallybrIt also does Not tell me there will be an extra fee for this buyerjust the fee snuck in after paid and shippedbrI called and here is their answer "Even if you ship to a USA address, the buyer has a home address internationally"brYeahFees were refunded, but you better check ALL your auctions and call on this sneaky fee

Lots of animal breeders have had their animals stolen from their homes They should not be allowed to sell animals on Ebay due to animal theft of peoples pets and from breeders I know one lady who had to purchase a guard dog after her cats were taken No reputable animal breeder sells to a pet shop There is a huge problem with people buying and selling animals to Japan with a markup No reputable cat breeder will sell to someone who lets their cat outside Coyotes in LA for example love to eat cats

The vintage perfume from the 80s and 90s are very desirable I guess people would have to go to consignment shops to get them now some of the fragrances are discontinued
