In case there are those who didn't know Amazon joined the Chase family, so now you can transfer your points that you earned to your Chase Sapphire Reserve Since it earns 2x points on gas, this became my addition to the trifectabrbrEdit: After looking a little more into the points, you cannot convert them into Chase UR points, but you can only redeem them through the chase portal, meaning you can't take advantage of the 125x points with the CSR Comment from : Zachary Heil Adventures |

Thanks for the video! I have a weird request: would you consider mentioning some version of "chase is the #1 funder of fossil fuels" during these reviews? I know it's not directly related but I think it would go a long way in helping people understand the other dimensions of their decision of where to bank Thanks for considering :) Comment from : Samuel McMullen |

I think it's also worth mentioning the version of the Savor card that has a $95 annual fee - you earn 4 on dining and entertainment which more than covers the fee if that's one of your major spending categories I think it's my favorite card!! Comment from : Shanna Adams |

Hi Daniel! I love the content I do have a question which I hope you can answer I have a payment plan for my school, which I pay monthly in full I put it on the credit card, there is a fee that is associated with this, but I think I still get more back with the rewards/points Is there a credit card that has the"best" rewards for this situation? Comment from : Paul Litvak |
Question:br Why is it I've seen most videos talking about which cards to get but I never see the downside to actually using a credit card Example, I get it's a benefit to using the cards but we never talk about the fees that come along with every transaction Use the card enough to get reward points to cash in but your giving that cash right back with the extra fee they charge every month along with your monthly payment Comment from : M Williams |
WF BILT - is no brainer! Set it to pay for rent, and use during “rent day” for 2x multiplier! Comment from : Nazar Boruh |
Is it worth getting the Amex good if you already have the Chase preferred?? Comment from : georgenanouh |

What card do you like best for groceries at a regular Walmart? I currently run the Citi Double Cash card because all other grocery cards do not count it as a grocery store dropping it into the 1 other category Comment from : Bryce Lyons |

The only question I think I have rn is with the chase travel portal I used it one time to book a flight and it ended up useing the points I had saved up for and I don’t think I got 5 cash back(points) towards my rewards Is there a way to use the chase portal and pay in full so I can get that benefit ? Any help? Comment from : benny Ruiz |

Unpopular opinion: I don’t like the AMEX Gold card Specifically I dislike the services it gives credits on I feel like even with the credits it is more expensive than just ordering from the restaurant directly so I don’t see the value in the credits and I don’t spend enough in dining a groceries to justify the fee without valuing the credits Comment from : John Baker |

I'd love to hear more about the Capital One Venture X and Savor One setup I've had the Venture X for about 18 months, and just got the Savor One I prefer this to the Chase trifecta Comment from : Scott Shapiro |
I started with the Saphire Prefered last year with an $8400 credit limit Used it a TON, payed it to 1 before statement closing, payed it off completely after closing, and have booked thousands in free travel in less than a year First off, this is ALL thanks to Daniel!!! I would not have started this path without watching your videos starting early last year Second off, chase just increased my credit limit to $28,400 without me asking or applying for the credit limit increase I know some banks do this, but I didn't know chase did and I was quite surprised and confused looking at my account before they emailed me and told me! Either way, keep doing what you're doing Daniel!!! Comment from : Najee Holland |
Does the Citi custom cash card get points for EV charging? Like with gas? Comment from : ToxicViks |

Would be great if you could make a vid explaining trip delay and baggage reimbursement insurance and how to use them Comment from : Eric A |
Honestly freedom unlimited is no more needed if u have a venture x since venture x gives 2x miles on every other purchase I think freedom unlimited is still being kept in lists because of nostalgia apart from the signup bonus Comment from : TheAb9211 |
Do you know about the Resy Amex portal that gives 75,000 point offers plus 20 back on dining up to $250? Comment from : Allan Cate |
This is one hell of a video This actually an accurate list Even your honorable mentions were accurate Personally, I think this is one of your best videos Comment from : Fatal God |
Great choices, Daniel I have many of the cards on your list, but missing several You’ve got me thinking 🤔 lol Comment from : Anthony Gardner |
I have the sapphire preferred and I was able to redeem >45$ worth of cash back offers within a year I also redeemed the $50 hotel credit so the $95 annual fee was completely recovered (not to mention the point bonus) Comment from : MrDietsam |
Thanks for this video! Super informative! I have the AMEX gold and I am interested in both the Amazon Prime card as well as the blue cash everyday Do you see a need for both? Comment from : Aaryn |
Have you have any US bank cards? Comment from : William W |
Great video, Daniel I have 5 of the cards you mentioned Just recently picked up the AMEX Blue Cash Everyday for that 3x online category I also have the AMEX Blue Cash Preferred as that 6x on groceries was just too compelling I easily come out ahead on the annual fee every year just on my grocery spend Thank you, as always, for the great content All the best Comment from : Chris Morin |
I want to start traveling what would be your best beginner card for traveling ? Comment from : Ashlee Cervantes |
Correct me if I’m wrong… but the 125x chase preferred doesn’t apply to transferring out to transfer partners? This is only for travel booked through the chase portal but not through partners? Comment from : VikingEngCa |
Today I just applied for the Charles Schwab Amex Platinum card, and I was fortunately accepted!brDo you still consider the Platinum to be worth? Not just the vanilla but the CS version as well? I also wanna add I’m AD military so the fee is entirely waived for me brSo far the gold card has been my favorite and most used card My biggest expense right now is groceries but I luck out when I got to places like Costco who don’t accept Amex Hoping I’ll find the same benefit outta the Platinum Comment from : Renegade |
Great video! I live in a small town so the spending cost is quite low For me, I only use Amex gold for groceries, dining and Sofi 2 back for the rest I wanted the Venture X card but the pre-approval does not offer me that nor the Venture probably because they prefer high-spending applicants The Bilt is meaningless to me because my landlord only accept one paycheck so it's my roommate who pays the rent all the way Comment from : Yuze Li |
Can you please expand on the redemption value for travel booked with the Chase Sapphire and Venture X? It seems like the Venture X offers more opportunity for accumulating points for most people based on the cashback categories, but CSP still prevails as the fan favorite Is that because the CSP offers better redemption / ease of use with booking in the travel portal? Comment from : Megan Zaratzian |
Perfect list! Comment from : News Now Adirondacks Redux |
For the venture x, do you accrue miles when redeeming the $300 statement credit or is that an opportunity cost using the statement credit (no additional miles)? Comment from : Sean C |
You're telling me Credit One didn't make this year's list (again)?! Looks like I'll check in and hope for the best next year Comment from : Chase Yokoyama |
