Scyth3934
this is ridiculous who would want to watch you hammer a coin for 4 whole minutes? I think you got the point across of how to do it the first time- no need to give us "mushrooming updates" every 5 minutes
Comment from : Scyth3934

Lefty Shaw Enuph
Is the Dremel from 1953, too? What is that, 7hp? Made by General Motors?

Balke DaQuino
can i use a more modern quarter
Comment from : Balke DaQuino

UseiTwise
To make the process more ergonomical, do you think you can carefully sand and use a (somewhat flexible) glue to attach like a small wooden stick as a handle, to hold on to while you spin and hammer the coin?
Comment from : UseiTwise

Rocksdont Eat
This is the lazy mans version If you take a heavy silver spoon to tap on the edge You will roll the numbers and letters over so they will show on the ring Of course it may take you an entire war to finish it
Comment from : Rocksdont Eat

Thats a Bingo

LORDCRIMSONFOX TWITCH
I'd have had drilled a large enough hole so you could use a dremel to Sand the ring smooth, faster but you'd need a bowl of water to cool the metal when it heats up

My nails look like that regularly I'm a mechanic Takes me about 30 minutes every other day cleaning them so they dont look like that The ring is cool Its hard to fatham that people in the 60s and 70s did this by slapping the coin with a spoon Definitely an exercise in patience
