I think there should be options for disabled people If you want to receive government payments, you're not allowed to be paid but if you choose to work and get paid, you don't receive the government's payment Because honestly, I think as much as these helps are precious they are also depriving disabled people of real success when they are able to achieve more and more

To clarify: it’s not that Emily is not allowed to keep the money, but in her case: the money that she would make modeling would not out-way the money that she receives from the government for her disability If she would take earnings from it, the government would cut the funds that she’s being given from her health care It’s her choice! And the government is giving her MORE money than she would make in modeling brbr people that I know with strong disabilities get up to 130k a year … so people relax … she is not losing here <3

I feel Emily I wasn’t able to work before cause if the government found I made money they definitely take away my SSI until my parents told me I was able to work certain hours but I hate it cause I really wanna move out
