He is definetly right about his speech Students (especially primary and middle school students) love to move during the lesson Also I realized that the more they move, the more they learn easily :)

Sumesh Krishnan
I agree that this method of teaching is great Great option! But I am thinking that the difference would be the volume of information I learn from reading Vs using kinesthetics? I can read much more information?

Wendy Baker
Thank you so much for this information It is an extremely valuable message Please be sensitive to the kids who have organ failure vs the kids who develop TYPE 2 diabetes Your message does not differentiate between Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes and continues to lead to the ignorance of the educational community regarding the children whose bodies have attacked their pancreas and left them having to regulate their own blood sugar 24 hours a day Thank you

Aaron Sherman, an Ohio gentleman
Here are some additional movement-oriented activities I have tried in the classroom: toss a ball to speak, whiteboard writing and drawing board always open for students to take notes on or comment on class work during the period, acting/performing, board games, class murals, meditation/mindfulness, charades (act out an answer or character), debates, play dog design, Jenga block design, role playing, sketch comedy, mock trials, and cooking any others anyone can think of?

Laura Grant
Educators who trust the research and in their own intuitive sense that the brain body connection is real - and act on that knowing by implementing thoughtful physical activity into their classrooms - will be more effective teachers Movement is not only fun and engaging, but also helps build relationships and increase achievement I especially appreciated hearing about the role movement can play in motivation
Comment from : Laura Grant

Cindy Neville
Mike Kuczala has hit the nail on the head! Blood flow to the brain, and movement associated with learning is the key to success for not only our children, but for all ages! Thanks for laying it out for us!
