Hey man, even though this video was a while back but I'm glad I did encounter this today in the late year of 2022😃I just have some concerns and hope you can help me with this because I did pay someone for online intangible services, I want them to retrieve my lost account and pay them thru PayPal with Goods & Services Option (not thru Friends & Family as they wanted) but can I still request from PayPal for a refund back even the seller (or the one on the other end) don't wanna refund my money back??? Thank you and hope you can give me an answer either way, just for my peace of mind so that I know what to do next time because I feel like I got scammed!😟

some sellers will only take FF because of past abuses from PayPal ! It's not only the outrageous fees one pays via ebay + paypal , it's the fact that when a dispute is open paypal will take your money and later decide in favour of the buyer regardless of proof provided, this HAS been the case for me 100 of the time! Also, paypal can hold your money for NO REASON, i've had my account frozen at least 3 times and wants all my documentation, which by the way is a severe privacy law infringement in Europe where i live PayPal is the absolute worst, i wouldn't recommend it even to receive FF payments , these too get PENDING for NO REASON

Yes, I was scammed by using friends and family by following the seller's instructions He is still communicating on messenger with me and his says that his paypal account is frozen and I'm asking him to refund my money I reported him to paypal and they opened and quickly closed the dispute My bank flat out refused help because it is an ACH transaction, if my account had used a credit card there may have been some protection but not since it came straight out of my bank account Paypal is investigating this but information about the details are not good I believe the account is actually frozen so the money is in the hands of paypal, but I cannot foresee the outcome I sure have learned an awful lot these last few days about my friends actually are not!

I almost got sucked into this last weekthere was someone supposedly selling autoparts on a FB forumI'd messaged the person and looked at their profile which showed a guy and his wife with the right make of car etc First red light went off when he wanted me to send it to his "friend's" paypal addressfortunately paypal had it listed as pending for a couple of days and I got my bank to refuse the transfer from my account My biggest beef is with Paypal themselves as if you want to cancel something, it's impossible to get hold of a real personjust bots that waste time sending you FAQ lists to address your complaint
