In total, somewhere between 300 and 400 eggs will be ovulated across a female reproductive lifetime Normally a woman produces 1 egg in a month They overstimulate the ovaries with hormones shots to retrieve 20-50 eggs per procedure This beautiful girl donated three times Many ladies do it multiple times as well I saw the interview of a lady that donated 8 times One mathematical consequence is that many would become infertile themselves But that lady had cancer on top of it

I wanted to donate my eggs in the past and I even went as far as filling out an online form That was before I read about all of the risks and side effects I changed my mind completely after reading that I could go sterile, get cancer, have reproductive issues, etc that scared the hell out of me Ladies, do more research before doing anything!!

Don't do it I was tempted to try and signed up on an asian egg donor site They lie to your face and omit a lot of information, only caring about getting your eggs and their rich clients satisfied I was harassed, gaslighted and finessed but got back to my senses when I posted my concerns to an asian women board, only for their attitude to change completely Women I've never met were trying to discredit and silence me, because they are clients themselves or work for that company The processus is least beneficial for egg donors, as they inject you with hormones which make you produce up to 100 eggs in a single month, which they resell probably fivefold This is obviously extremely unnatural and noone looks into this a a lot of hush money is put into silencing victims and potential whistle-blowers Your health is at risk and they don't care for it, as long as they can get money/a baby throuugh your pain

This video doesn't make clear how the act of donating eggs can possibly lead to cancer I was totally confused for most of this, thinking, "don't they just catch your period eggs or do a little incision or something?" sorry for my ignorance, but it was only when the term "ovarian stimulation" was mentioned did it start to make sense, suggesting to the uninformed viewer that there is artificial hormonal stimulation involved THAT is what needs to be emphasized for clarity

There are plenty of egg donation ads in Canada offering to fly you to the States for a 'vacation' They are also usually posted on Craigslist or generally targeted at uni students, like myself, and have very little information on their sites It makes me think that these egg donation businesses know that there are hidden risks if they have to be so vague about information and have to target those who are financially vulnerable

I'm Jessica's mother I just found this video in which I was interviewed and I found myself crying again NOTHING has changed since 2008, when I first had a medical article published about the absence of follow-up of egg donors Most potential egg donors just don't realize that there is still NO INFORMATION about the risks of egg donation If you hear anyone say otherwise, you have to realize that they are basing it on studies of infertile women undergoing hormonal stimulation for themselves They are a DIFFERENT population But the obvious never been done -- studying egg donors

My mother got colon cancer after hormone therapy in 2003 There isn't any cancer in the family and her doctor told her that stopping her hormone patches had done herself a favor She lived after treatment with chemo and extensive surgery, but wasn't the same of course
