I loved it when you said "I'm speaking like a child In case the government is listening" It's the only way the government can understand! Priceless 😅😂😂 Comment from : Richard Metcalf |

Thank you for your video For those who are not aware, Texas billionaire Kyle Bass has hoarded a million dollars face value worth of nickels which are 20 million 5 cent coins since 2011 The highest price of nickel was $2452 per pound on May 1, 2007 and the highest price of copper was $476 per pound on May 10, 2021 That means a 5 cent nickel coin at their highest metal content prices would be worth 1078 cents each which is 1156 above their face value Nickel is a key component in lithium-ion batteries, used in electric vehicles as well as many other rechargeable devices Nickel packs more energy into batteries and allows producers to reduce use of cobalt, which is more expensive and has a less transparent supply chain There is only approximately 2 Lithium in a Lithium Ion Battery Comment from : Jade Nephrite |

Also, current melt price is 18 above face value for the nickel 100$ gets you 118$ in nickel melt value Comment from : Artur augustynek |

Saw this coming years ago Have been hoarding nickels for a few years Have thousands of dollars in just nickels lol Tesla needs nickel and copper for the EV’s Copper for wiring and nickel for batteries since the technology is NMC 8-1-1 Meaning 80 nickel, 10 manganese, 10 cobalt Newer gen batteries will be 9-5-5 90 Nickel Comment from : Artur augustynek |

I save the 98 copper pennies and nickels as I get them in change but if I have $200 to spend I'd rather get silver ounces or junk silver Spending $200 on a box of nickels and $100 on 4 boxes of pennies and to have to go through them and pick out the 98 copper ones is tedious Silver is where the big money goes Comment from : Bob C |

Just hoarding the copper pennies Got a few older nickels but no hoard there yet Comment from : Boris Buliak |

Your local government spends money on public services and road maintenancebrDo those investment turn a direct profit or loss?brLossbrYeah, but they allow residents to more effectively conduct taxable commercebrbrLIKEWISEbrbrYes, production of the penny & nickel cost more than their face valuebrHowever, their effective "working lives" allow multiples of multiples of taxable commerce to transpirebrbrYou just gotta look at it the right waybrTo see the silver lining you gotta change your perspectivebr;) Comment from : fuzzygreysocks |

Just buy one $100 or $200 bag of nickels a month- when the new design is out they'll pull the old ones from circulation in a super fast way In a month you'll only see the new ones with a few old style in the mix, six months later only the newbrbrA hundred dollar rolled bag fits in a 762 ammo box and is easy to store awaybrbrYou can always get your money back Comment from : Gardener Earth Guy |

The government stop wasting money boy that would be funny Comment from : Glenn Saulsbury |

Easiest investment you can make is go to the bank and order boxes of coins and just hold them Later hunt for Silver and COPPER and likely Nickel The big secret is hunting for half dollars doesn't have to have a "return" bin because every coin has over 10 grams of Copper in it regardless of the year (if not Silver) Tell me one time you've paid less than $150 per ounce of Copper? And in this current environment, good luck That means that once everything 10x's-50x's like Copper is on the verge of and Silver soon will be, you can just cash in In the worse case scenario (won't happen) just turn your coins in for face value and exchange for Silver if you can find it Mark my words, there will come a time when change given back is worth more than the dollars given to pay the bill So change will become impossible to get as the GREAT HUNT begins!!!brbrSilver (and Copper and Gold and even Nickel) to the Moon Soon!!! The government of Canada asked the banks and individuals to submit their 999 nickel made coins back to them The 999 5 cent nickel coin is about 13 cents US and is about 18 cents Canadian No way that anybody that has pounds of nickel stored up over the years is going to give it back Ahhaha Comment from : Cherokee Fit |
