Well done on the 1825 No obvious edge knocks and relatively clean fields Perhaps lightly polished It looks VF-GVF George IV bare-headed sovereigns that show some wear are reasonably easy to source, except of course the very rare 1828 And the Royal Mint has in its collection an ultra-rare 1824 bare-headed sovereign with a lettered edge Perhaps the same one as in the Murdoch collection

Does wiping with a cotton cloth or an eyeglass cloth count as polishing? Or would some kind of actual polish cream have to be applied for it to get a detailed? Or a polishing wheel, etc
