The most important 'features' for a turntable, are pitch control increments (ie smaller is better), pitch stability, wow, flutter, anti-feedback capability, tone-arm tracking accuracy, etcbrNever heard any of those mentioned in this reviewbrBells & whistles are useless if the turntable has shit pitch control, shit wow & flutter, and feeds back soon as you up the volume at a club Comment from : Nik Gnashers |

I’ve had ST 150s for about 8 years now They still work great but the film covering the buttons has eroded It doesn’t affect functionality, but it is weird and ugly Also I wish they had a more natural inertia, like the technics or pioneers They stop too suddenly and mechanically, even after adjusting the stop time In other words they’re a little too torquey I don’t have much use for the 25 or 50 pitch when mixing but I have used it in the occasional routine The key lock is unusable The pitch faders are super accurate and smooth! The layout has too many buttons, it’s easy for a newbie to press the wrong button by accident, making them bad for club installations The pre amp is only useful for djs with very low quality mixers (with low quality pre amps) I’ve never had a use for it except the few times I plugged it into my home stereo to listen to vinyl The straight tone arm never skips, even when I literally knock on the turntable like a door They’re sooo heavy, I used to take them out on mobile gigs and they were a pain in the ass If I could do it all over again I’d probably get either reloops or pioneers, or even the new stantons depending on how they behave I’m curious why the new denons are so expensive Have you done any feedback loop tests? Pre amp quality tests? Torque comparisons? Comment from : Edgar Ayala |

I bought a new st-150 M1 today It cost me about 275 USD and I am really looking forward to receiving it I am no DJ at all, but I am listening to lots of techno LPs So I gave my old Dual CS 621 to my dad and looked for something sturdy, which will survive all the crazy student's parties, I am throwing Maybe though I will start BJing a bit Comment from : The Red Spoon |
Just get a Technic 1200! Comment from : bobby wright |
All the cheap, plastic crap in this video None of this junk is worth it Comment from : chanli6901 |
Who needs an internal phono preamp? Comment from : S Müller |
I had the stanton st 150s mk1 and they were built like a war tank! They were very solid and felt incredible But my god were they heavy to carry around with their own cases They're definitely the best turntables out there that will last forever Comment from : Signs Of The Times |

"REALLY DOPE TURNTABLE" br"TAKES A BIT OF A DING" brWE "RECENTLY" REVIEWED THIS LAST YEAR ?!?!?!brA RUBBER UNDERCOATING ON THE BOTTOM brUndercoating v bottom ?brWith the greatest of respect, this review sounded as though you were reading it from a script In addition, your delivery was disjointed and extremely tedious 😟 Comment from : Paul Walker |

Fully agree Got 3 Stantons 150 mk1 and looking for 4th one Biggest disappointment for me when looking at 150 mk2 is that changing the rotation speed is now in one button making impossible to nudge using quick rpm change Comment from : TwoSelves |
The 1200s rate number one with me,dont need all those bells ,dont like the extra line input,a turntable with all those extra buttons are the younger djs choice ,those other tables are over priced, pioneer would be 2nd choice, its amazing after how many years the 1200 still holds up,build like a ship Comment from : Lloyd August |
Which i add turnble Comment from : Lodge Man |
I was thinking about selling my MK-2's to get some tables with more features but I'm worried about the durability of some of these new tables I've had my Technics for over 20yrs now and they still work like they are new Can anyone vouch for these other brands? Even 10 years, of heavy use, would be good enough I'm leaning toward the Reloop tables Comment from : phunone |
Stop it! Only 12's and the Vestax TT even though there out of business Comment from : DJ Zero |
You left out a beast!! The audiotechnica AT1240 Super high quality Comment from : manny Pep |
No technics on that list smh Comment from : djbashlive |
Ok Homie! I respect the video, but I hope your top 5 Turntables are for the turntables that we’re manufactured for the year of 2018 Question though Why Wasn’t The Technics 1200/1210 In Your List! Technics have been out since the 70s and have been known to be THE BATTLESHIP OF ALL TURNTABLES! Technics have not changed or upgraded much at all due to the structure, durability and performance of the turntable I do respect your thoughts but TECHNICS should be your #1 choice of turntables But like they say, “ Everyone Has Their Own Opinion” Comment from : Raw & Uncensored |
I'm planning to buy Stanton turntable Which model is good for professional use Comment from : Vdj Ratch |

Well you can stick your top five up huge bottom I’ve used numark and Stanton and neither come close to technics I’ll stick to my 1200d mk5s thanks Comment from : Ryan Boothroyd |
there are non like the technics old skool tables all these nowadays are copy`s of the legend loads of sync button dj,s nowadays cannot play on the technics tables, they need all those addon shit that no one needs and you pay a lot of money for let me keep my SL 1200 MK2 `s i`m more than happy with them Comment from : Peter |

Yeah, but it's should be Top 5 Identical Turntables of 2018 Comment from : Darius S |
The DENON turntables are nice? Personally I think they are horrendous looking plus they have that cheap and nasty tone arm assembly found on the old Gemini turntables from the 90s and the numark turntables mentioned at number 5 Another thing I could care less for are features, it's a record deck not a cdj/controller, all I want on a turntable is start/stop, 33/45, pitch slider Not LEDs under the platter, lots of unnecessary buttons plastered all over the face plate Just give me a pair of technics 1200 or those pioneer Plx 1000 as they look the part due to their basic design just like the 1200s Comment from : madmax1281980 |
I just want to say to all Technics lovers Techs have competitors now and some of us don't want to try anything new, Techcs are not No1 anymore they're good but they're not the best There's no best out there because all the TTbs have they're faults including Technics If techs were so good they wouldn't switch from analog to digital sliders Comment from : 29Dj |
IF YOUR THINKING OF A SET OF DECKS GET A PAIR OF TECHNICS 1200/1210S ANY MODELS UP TILL 2010 WHEN THEY STOPPED PRODUCTION I WOULD NOT BUY ANY OF THESE PLASTIC DECKS AND POOR 12OO/1210 COPYS WITH ALL THESE CRAPPY EFFECTS THAT YOU DONT NEED IF YOUR A DJ BECAUSE THEY ALL GO THE SAME WAY ANYONE WHO SPENT MONEY ON TOP OF THE RANGE PLASTIC DECKS IN THE PAST WILL KNOW WHAT I MEAN THERE JUST SHIT PERSONALLY I WOULD GRAB A NICE SECOND HAND PAIR OF 1210S/1200S BECAUSE THEY LAST FOREVER BUT I DONT NEED TO BECAUSE I STILL GOT MINE FROM 1991 Comment from : RARE OLDSCHOOL BREAKBEAT HARDCORE/JUNGLE/DRUM AND BASS MIXTAPES |
