guil 1204
The greatest match in tennis history is the wimby 2008 final - rafa vs rog, the two best tennis players in historybrbrThe rest can't touch them two, sorry for other player fans, this is just a simple fact
Comment from : guil 1204

trevor smith
Average was around 30s, and they play very very many long, grueling rallies So I think it is fair to keep the quality high and it makes sense compared to an Isner Karlovic match on the other spectrum
Comment from : trevor smith

trevor smith
Its not a joke, your are just obviously from Spain, and Nadal lost
Comment from : trevor smith

Garin Leehy
And by "Greatest Match in History" you were referring to Wimbledon 2008 Men's Finals right?
Comment from : Garin Leehy

Adam Frey
"Five hours and 53 minutes That's how long it took to separate two of the greatest players to have ever graced the Rod Laver Arena We look back on that match through their eyes" Federer has played in the Rod Laver Arena
Comment from : Adam Frey

No

D-d-dvon
This match was long Not the greatest match in history Consider the average time between points went far beyong the 25second alotted time and averaged 35 seconds between points
Comment from : D-d-dvon

skove
You are a good man, but kind of a troll
Comment from : skove

Summon256
you might not like how he plays, acts or looks in general, but calling him an "ASS" just because of that makes you an "ASS" yourselfvery biased and ignorant "ASS" i'd say
Comment from : Summon256

Summon256
and just to remind you, this ASS takes part in most charity events any other player ever did! there's a lot of good deeds from him and yet people keep on calling him an ASS!someone's just way too biased don't you think?and also ASSES as i know of don't donate to children and take a part in other charity events
Comment from : Summon256

Changan Bao
the best is yet to come
Comment from : Changan Bao

hristo vrigazov
Djoko leads 2-1 Rog in Australia, Fed raped him in 2007 ;)
Comment from : hristo vrigazov

North Korea
Federer v Nadal Wimbledon 2008 Need I say more?
Comment from : North Korea

Jokeronk
Murray seems to be also good candidate , but that is a great thing that there is some mystery in this
Comment from : Jokeronk

Jokeronk
Agree that Fed would beat NAdal on very fast courts, but not so sure about Djokovic They already played on fast hard courts and Djokovic won it some times, i don't remember the name of the tournament, but courts were really fast and Novak won there against Roger But Roger plays very at Cincinatti where Novak feels uncomfortable Actually you made quite valid point, but not to the extent ''destroyed'' And Novak before 2011 is nowhere near Novak after 2011, consider that as well
Comment from : Jokeronk

Erick P
Well, he started the first part of 2012 very lack, but you must remember that his main task was to reach the first ranks, and he made it Before the first part, in his last matches, you can notice he is getting back his old strenght Beating Roger twice on indoor tournaments it's not easy
Comment from : Erick P

Erick P
Delpo could have beaten Hewitt easily, but it was an exhibition tournament Nothing to lose Check it out; Hewitt was beated by Tipsarevic Clearly Delpo would have raped an out-form Hewitt
Comment from : Erick P

fedfoofy
Longest doesn't mean the greatest
Comment from : fedfoofy

LPdevilness
Probably not the best matchBut, the best match of 2012, certainly

Wimbledon Final 2008 - Federer Vs Nadal - Greatest Match Ever
Comment from : lasdillett

fedooney
This was a long, grueling, One-dimensional match Both players just kept on retrieving the ball and no one tried to finish the points quickly
Comment from : fedooney

Louis-Aimery dOiron
Wimbledon final 2007 was better, wimbledon final 2008 was better than wimbledon 2007 final, french open semis 2011 was better No way this match is the best in history
Comment from : Louis-Aimery dOiron

Damjan Karadzic
Yea it is the greatest match in history of tenis!!!
Comment from : Damjan Karadzic

Pedro
I like this match, but say that is the greatest macth ever is a joke
Comment from : Pedro

Francisco Castrillon
Yes but Kooyong is an exhibition
Comment from : Francisco Castrillon

TheAtoZChap
Hah, Del Potro ain't gonna go anywhere, if he starts losing to Lleyton Hewitt at the finals of the Kooyong Classic in Melbourne Start stressing because the surprise package from the 'floaters' (ie dangerous unseeded players currently in good form leading up to the Aust Open) can produce major upsets
Comment from : TheAtoZChap

Jokeronk
Partly truth, but it still seems that Delpo is unable to win Slam now, I mean potentially he is 5th(if we consider Nadal) candidate, but he lacks some last impulse, he is not that fearless guy now that was at 2nd part of the 2009 season Just remember how he lost at RG against Fed with 2-0 set's lead Do you think that that Delpo after 2-0 would have choked and give his victory away? Of course no Delpo is the only guy that could become 5th force, not Berdych, not Tsonga I'm from UkraineYou?
Comment from : Jokeronk

Jokeronk
I don't think that Fed plans to win AO, his main goal must be establishment of a new Wimbeldon record(8-time winner) And if he will do it it would be astonishing considering that Murray is motivated as never before, Djokovic would like to be a winner at grass again and I don't think that this time Nadal will be out of 2nd leg:)
Comment from : Jokeronk

Jokeronk
I Remember:) But AO is completely different surface , it's slower, more suitable for Djokovic than for Fed and he is motivated to mark AO as ''his tournament'' just like Nadal did with RG and Fed with Wimby Also , don't forget that out of 2 meetings at AO Fed hadn't won even 1 set, so dominated him Novak Moreover, Fed will have tougher opponents on the road to final and if he will be there he will be quite exhausted especially counting that Roger is already 31 years old
Comment from : Jokeronk

Bryan Kwong
I also tilt with Djokovic winning AO but I wouldn't count out Federer like that lol remember Wimbledon 2012?
Comment from : Bryan Kwong

Francisco Castrillon
Yeah I tough the same but remember Del Po is strong mentally and if he is well phisically he could easilly but Murray even in 5 sets Out of topic: Where are you from?
Comment from : Francisco Castrillon

Jokeronk
I don't think that at 5 set's format present Delpo could beat Murray especially in Australia, where Murray was already in 2 finals I wonder how far would have Del Potro gone till now if not his injury , could have had at least 1 more Slam for sure His match against Fed at US Open at 2009 was epic, for me one of the greatest for the last 5 years:)
Comment from : Jokeronk

Marko Markovic
Best match ever! Never gona happen again! :(
Comment from : Marko Markovic

Francisco Castrillon
You are forgetting Del Potro He could win against Murray
Comment from : Francisco Castrillon

Jokeronk
It's quite a pity that Fed is 5 years older than the trio Nadal, Djok and Murray, otherwise we would have had greatest era of tennis by far I think if they all were of same age Fed wouldn't get more than 7-8 Slams for sure These guys are not like Roddick, Hewwit or Ljubicic, they are made of a much more talented and tougher material:)
Comment from : Jokeronk

Sam Dean
do you think maybe next time you show a match there could be more highlights? none the less great video
Comment from : Sam Dean

mizofan
The match took so loing cos they take so long over serving Federer has finished whole games quicker than Nadal has taken to serve It's time the rules were enforced by umpires
Comment from : mizofan

Duc Le
you have no idea
Comment from : Duc Le

Javier Orduz
i saw all the match and it was an incredible final but the final of federer vs nadal in 2008 wimbledon was from another world and that match for me is the greatest ever
Comment from : Javier Orduz
