Hey mate Just so you know At least if you ask for Swedish content is still going to give you a lot of fake links (Granted some are real but you can't use this as a research tool as it going to leave out important content while at the same time still creating fake ones) brbrThe fact that you can ask it not to give you fake papers going to improve it somewhat, but you really can't use it My tip to everyone who read this Use the program to get an understanding of how it might look when you write a paper but for the love of god, don't use the links Do your own research and use that material instead Comment from : Morgan Svensson |

Not a PhD, but work in pharma, more specifically in validation and compliance I'm very excited to explore how I can apply ChatGPT and other AI tools to my workbrMost of my time is spent drafting risk assessments and protocols for very specific thingsbrbrI still think it would need a lot of input, but trained properly on ICH guidelines, all the pharmacopoeia and other guidelinesbrbrWould still need real time info on system condition, materials used, lab stuff and other limitations But this could be prompted by the AI given the right instructionsbrbr😊 Comment from : Tetsujin |

The ability to summarise is very attractive to my short attention span and the "use as many words as possible to make sure you know its important" style many like to use I think most people like to learn but often just skip it all together because the process is often un enjoyable eg reading a whole book for a week just to learn a couple of important things Your average person is about to become a whole lot more knowledgeable about a whole lot more things Comment from : jedics |
Does it draw on corpora resources as well? Comment from : LuciaS |

There is bad news, guys; for the last several days, I fail to get from GPT-4 the correct links The links are working, but they lead to totally off-papers The titles and even the researchers are non-existent I am doing research in MEMS if it is relevant I must admit - it worked almost flawlessly almost a week or so ago Comment from : GhVost |
idk whether anyone already commented this, but I jsut wanted to leave the tip, that it's not actually necessary to tell gpt to "read this and say Read" 🙂 It is very capable to distinguish your instructions from the text you're pasting, as long as you paste it with quotation marks So you could start your prompt saying "I will be pasting X bellow, I want you to do Y with it" make a new paragraph and paste all the text at once with Quotation marks Gpt has no problems distinguishing your isntructions from its materials, so that extra step is unecessary and you might save time like that 🙏brbr* should also say it also doesn't struggle to find additional isntructions BETWEEN pasted texts, as long as you narrate it properly likebr"pasted text"brAnd here is info on X:br"more pasted text"brThe bellow text I would like you to remember in order to do XYZ:br"test"brUsing all of the texts above, I want you to X, V, Y and ABCbrbrI haven't run into any issues with complex requests on many snippets, as long as they are properly quoted and the isntructions are clear Comment from : Coyblythe |
Looks like the YouTube algorithm knows me better than my barber! Is Andy Stapleton the beard or the man behind it? Either way, I'm intrigued Comment from : Ali Toukan |

I also used GPT 4 to get a list of claims that Elon Musk has made, which are still of September are unfulfilled…gave me like 30+ items alone just regarding Tesla Was also able to gather additional information like how often his crazy bullshit was claimed during earnings calls, and could see that a lot of claims were made at Tesla events, which move closer and closer to fiscal quarter dates (At the beginning, they were 7-8 weeks out…more often than not, they’re now within a few weeks) such a fraudster…musk is an appropriate name…brbrNow, I didn’t bother to check any of the information, but I’m certain this would be an excellent tool for journalists (or researchers)brbrI also tried to plan a road-trip (not in a Tesla ) and GPT didn’t do so well with that It was good for finding stuff along the way, but I’m terms of getting distances and drive times right, it didn’t have a chancebrbrThat said, planning an driving itinerary is probably beyond the scope and intention of a language model I’m sure this will get much better in the next year or twobrbrVery exciting…at the same time, very alarming Comment from : MO |
I Like this guys „providemewith“ voice Comment from : MO |

Interesting,brManuel AsendebrEl PaisbrOne of the world’s most cited scientists, Rafael Luque, suspended without pay for 13 yearsbrThe prolific chemist, who has published a study every 37 hours this year, has been sanctioned by the University of Córdoba over his research work for other institutionsbrbrLuque is constantly publishing papers Last year he authored some 110 articles So far this year he has published 58 The chemist admitted that since December, he has been using the artificial intelligence program ChatGPT to “polish” his texts “These months have been quite productive, because there are articles that used to require two or three days and now I do them in one day,” he said ChatGPT, launched in December, is capable of generating in-depth texts in response to complex questions Luque said he basically uses it to improve his written expression in English and strongly denies having any relationship with any wholesale research factorybrbrThe current scientific system is governed by the “publish or perish” imperative Researchers are evaluated by the number of studies they publish in peer-reviewed journals and by the number of times these papers are cited by other colleagues The well-intentioned mechanism, however, has produced adverse effects, as explained by the British engineer Nick Wise, a researcher at Cambridge University who, in his spare time, seeks out fraud in science Wise has uncovered shady “factories of scientific studies,” produced by copying and pasting other studies or by automatic text generators, and whose authorship is secretly sold for hundreds or thousands of dollars to inflate resumes “I found a study by Rafael Luque whose authorship had previously been offered in a group on [the messaging platform] Telegram,” Wise saidbrbrOver a decade ago, leading Saudi universities launched aggressive programs to recruit the world’s most cited scientists The King Abdulaziz University, for example, offered researchers around $76,000 per year, with the only stipulation being that spend just one week a year on its campus and, of course, add the name of the Saudi institution as a second affiliation, as revealed by industry journal SciencebrbrJust part of the article 😮 Comment from : Acer Rubrum |

But, when I asked it to verify a cite from 35, it believed the lie AND tried to convince me It wrote an summary that started with "The court likely assessesd" Likely? Law is binary, or tries to be Can you imagine? "Your honor, the ruling from the in re Smith court opinion has a 67 chance of being real case law Let's face it, in the age of AI, those are pretty good odds" Comment from : AI Law Today |
