The problem with Arabic speakers is that they immediately overcorrect and want you to speak THEIR dialect I was even corrected by a guy in the supermarket for saying "ma fi "instead of "fish" 😂 It chips away at your confidence bit by bit until I just don't even want to speak

It seems to me like one major problem I would have when learning Arabic is finding content to watch in Arabic (like movies, series, etc), because most of western content isn't dubbed into Arabic and the native Arabic content I rarely find varies too much in terms of dialect (some are in Egyptian dialect, others in Levantine, Gulf dialect, MSA, etc), so it would be hard to stick to one given form of Arabic, not to mention how hard finding Arabic subtitles seems to be Disclaimer: I haven't started to learn Arabic yet and this is only an impression I have, how wrong or right am I really?
