I have the razor blackshark and when I turn the volume nob there’s static, the mic barely works and for it to work i have to have it in a certain position and I can’t move it And the sound is just alright not crazy at all

Tip for astro headphones, the earcups tend to get dirty over time (as do all headphones) due to skin oils, hair, and dandruff However, they are almost impossible to clean since you can not remove them and they are made of cloth I think it's a noteworthy point, even if it has great audio quality

I’ve had my Astro TR a40 for 8+ years by far THE BEST headphones I’ve ever had, often get reported for cheating because the Audio is so clear you can hear people coming from a mile away Only now has the glue started failing on the muffs but abit of strong superglue and they’re back to the way they should be brbrI’ll never get another brand brbrI’ve had all brands of headphones too

The Astro a50s are not that good The materials are cheap, it is very easy to break, and the top resting pad is BY FAR the worst It constantly breaks and when it does makes it very irritating to wear and downright painful

Just a heads-up for Astro Headphones: if you have long hair Astro headphones tend to yank your hair around the points where you adjust the fit for your head (the side sliding rails, sorry i am not sure what the right term is for them), i had a pair of A-40's and it looks like they did not change the sliding rails there, so just beware about that!

I have the Blackshark V2 Pro (wireless) headset and I hate it Constant disconnection and signal interruption, the fact that it charges with Micro USB, and the adjustment slide things just feel cheap Also, the Razer customer service is a JOKE, the signal interruption/failure started within warranty and they made the warranty process impossible for me, so I never got a new set - which means I'll never buy another Razer product again brbrThe headset itself is comfortable, the audio - when it works - is really good, but not many games support the "THX Spatial Audio" output, which is where these headphones really shine brbrThanks for the recommendations!

Sorry hyper X is made piss poorly brackets on the headband break with fatigue the plastic is just cheap, the headband leatherette shreads its layer and peels off, not good and you do not realise that you have black material all over your head when it breaks down in less than a year, sound wise there great, the only plus point I have the wired version,wireless version is the same as wired avoid!!!

i've had the astro a 50's with the blue on them for qute a few years an absolutely love them, only issue now is because they are optical port i had to buy a hdmi optical port splitter now i'm forced to include game chat audio as well as game audio on my streams unless i do a different setup with another controller and chat link pro since i now use ps5 through pc

Personally I do feel like the Astro headsets have arguably the most comfortably gaming headsets out there, however there mic still sounds like it's been dropped from a high rise buildingbrHonestly what are they thinking over there, you've got the comfort down but the amount of times I find someone online bosting about having one and arguing that there's no way it sounds bad Is unbelievablebrI personally use a studio microphone and people complement me all the time but I also understand not everyone can use this setup (ps never use a blue yeti) there are so many microphones/headsets out there that are far better So to my point, you not only want a headset/microphone with good audio to listen to the game/movie/music but you also need something where others can hear you clearlybrpeople will hate you online for using the astro's or the blue yeti and in some cases you'll be removed from a gaming party for having a really bad mic

Arctics nova 7 are absolutely awful Unless they're connected with the wire, the audio randomly goes tiny and crackly for 10 second periods and even cuts out completely at times, and that's while being right next to the dongle

my a50s broke after 3 months the head band would twist and pop the pad out all the time returned them for new ones and the new ones battery stopped charging after the first year i would expect a 250 dollar headset to be so finicky

Had a bad experience with the Blackshark v2 Pro Doesn't feel good for glasses users Hyper X is very comfortable but the mic starts to fail after some time Many other users experienced this as well Will give the steel series a chance Thank you for the review!
