The RX 6400 is an underrated card It was at the time of its release, the fastest LP card you could get and even now the only things that beat it(even if they are better price to perf) are the RTX A2000 and RTX 4060 LP from Gigabyte both of which costs HUNDREDS of dollars more and also use a lot more power For anyone with one of those cheap/old office PC's with a decent i5 or i7 in them, I would 100 recommend an RX 6400 for them Comment from : Matteo De Vellis |

Yeah for as long as I remember, value for money has never been at the very bottom of the market bOR/b at the very top of the market Mostly everything in between has at least passable VFM, but if you buy at the bottom you'll be getting a product that's either built so bad it fails or something that's just not up to the task On the other hand, buying at the very top you'll run into diminishing returns where prices skyrocket but gains are very marginal My philosophy is if you want cheap, either buy used or buy a little better than the bottom of the barrel, or if you want something really nice, get something that's close to the top but not quite there Comment from : Aleksi Joensuu |

That was very cool what you did there at 6:19 🤣🤣 Very clever! Comment from : Ranger |

Sorry finding the upgrade visual from a 1030 to a `1080 hilarious because if your thinking about buying a gpu that consumes 30 watts and can therefore be used on a machine with lets say a budget budget psu such as a aresgame or Iwin or an evolabs that will handle the gt 1030 just fine buying a 1080 with that same gpu will cause a fire in about 20 seconds Comment from : R K |

I have a 780 oc still,it'll push 40 frames on 1440 max up till 2010 games Comment from : Patrick Kalmakoff |

Really need some assistance as I am on budget Heavily modding my skyrim game with graphics and new locations mods, my RX 5600 XT is suffering (even though cp77 runs pretty smooth on 1080p) What do I need to look at in a new GPU considering my needs? I was thinking of ASUS RX 7900 XT or XTX and not sure if Asus or Aorus is a huge difference
brMy other pc specs are:
brCPU - AMD Ryzen 5 3600
brRAM - 16 GB corsair 3600mhz
brMotherboard - B450 Aorus Elite
brPower Supply - AORUS P750W 80+ GOLD Modular Comment from : Liana |

I’m currently running an ASUS Rx570 4G , on and asus tuf gaming 450 board with 48 gbs of ddr4 and an 11th gen i7 , what would be a decent upgrade that won’t break the bank? Mostly for Fortnite with my kid Comment from : John Miller |
Nothing cheap has good value genius lol Comment from : Dzen acs |
the rx570 is the antagonist of the 1650, it performs 10-15 better, has 8gb Vram and costs a little less Comment from : Matteo Sberna |
Definitely not a budget GPU however I managed to get a used RTX 3080 for around 410GBP which is currently in my new pc build and Im so happy with it Comment from : EdFed |
This is generally good advice I was thinking of buying an Arc 380 for like $120 on sale Since I was in no big rush, I waited until recently where an RX 6600 went on sale for $180 and I snatched it up The performance difference for $60 is YUGE! Like 3X Comment from : Lap Ngo |
But is the 1650 good for video rendering? Comment from : VideoTube 2016 |
Low-end graphics cards are not about value for money, but about fulfilling specific use cases They are becoming less relevant now that more and more processors have integrated graphics, though Comment from : Magnulus76 |

Linus is Canadian He should know that buying used, except for locally, is not a good option for us with import charges and shipping Ergo, eBay is mostly useless Comment from : Indellable |

When buying a gpu for my free and only pc at the time roughly a year ago, i was limited by the fact that my pc was low profile so i went with the radeon rx 6400 and have used it almost a year now, im only just now getting around to building a pc as im ready for something better but for the year i was using it with my 3rd gen i7, basically all games were playable in my opinion and was better than any computer ive played on previously Comment from : DankAssassin |

I'm stuck on a 1060 6gb I have a $5 budget for a new GPU In two weeks 🤣 Comment from : Captain Spike |
My first gpu was a used 1080 ti a couple of years ago, that thing is beastly even now I did have to replace the fans once but I am not gonna lie that was kind of fun and the GPU is still works great I did eventually buy a newer GPU although I can hardly call it an upgrade if any at all "3070" but I only did this as I was troubleshooting my machine and needed to ensure the GPU wasn't the piece giving me issues which it wasn't I might seel the 3079 and just keep my 1080 ti but I am also getting a new machine soon with another Gpu so who knows The point is, used GPUs can be great value, especially for a point of entry Comment from : MeGaDroiDx |

I must have blinders because everything you explained for new people just seemed extremely obvious Like yeah of course, different brands have different naming schemes and you can’t expect their naming to be perfectly correlated to performance You just have to do your research on what you’re buying If you can’t do that, get a quality pre build or stick with a console Comment from : Giuseppe Responte |
I built my first pc like 6 years ago prob And linus prevented me from getting robbed on a crap card Thanks LTT Comment from : BOo hoo |
6:18 I see what you did there Comment from : lamenamethefirst |
In the past, usually the mid range is have a very good price performance ratio The crap is always crap So avoid it The extreme models were like paying more than double to get that extra 20 and easily being surpassed by next gen mid range So you pay a pretty huge premium for that extra luxury Now it seems that a new mid range is not able to beat last gen best, and it still got a significant price increase So it is no longer a very good option Better wait one more gen Comment from : Bernard Shum |
that frame rate drop at 6 mins is a nice touch Comment from : Necatuss |
While I understand your point, GT 1030 is still a life saver in poorer countries in Indonesia The price different begween a used GT 1030 and a Vega 8 iGPU is equal to at least three days of work, while for you wealthy westerners, it's closer to 2 hour of work Comment from : Arthur Lasido |
Great videobr100brNeed more of these Comment from : Uwada Destiny |
