I watched the original video The toys were left in the room and the children used the toys to beat the Bobo doll Also, this was used to "prove" that spanking causes aggression But it isn't that simple If the spanking is done in a vengeful manner, it can cause anger, rebellion, pride, and discouragement to surface in a child However, if a spanking is done calmly, patiently, and with moderation and the child still rises up in anger and rebellion, it is an issue within the child's own heart that caused the negative reaction, not the spanking

Y'all, stop whining about how your teachers don't tell you all this in the same time Hank does I get that some teachers prolong their lectures too much etc, but I bet most of them actually just bring in extra background information, things you might not need for an exam, but there is so much more to learning than just the stuff you have to puke out on a piece of paper So listen to your lectures, watch crash course after, stop complaining and appreciate that your privileged asses sit in Universities

You forgot an important criticism about the bobo experiment While the children mimicked the model's behaviours, they did not display genuine aggressive emotion They were smiling and having fun the whole time, demonstrating what is otherwise known as "play face" Therefore, the analysis of the results is incorrect in its assertion that aggression is linearily modelled, for important differences exist between the displays It more aptly describes other social learning processes such as response facillitation

I don't know if anyone would know this but were the kids directly observing the hostile actions towards the clown or was that happening in the background Eg They're having a conversation with the professor about their day and through a window visible to them the violent actions were observable?
