The leaves & plants referenced on German coins are from oak trees I think it's one of the white oak speciesbrbrI forgot exactly why I think it has to do with strength & longevity towards a stable future That's one of those things I was taught as a child so long ago I could be off in my remembering it, but I do specifically remember that they were oak leaves & oak trees
